The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batista avoids the body shot from Sapp.
Batista scores a takedown into full mount! Batista blocks Sapp's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Batista scoring with strikes but Sapp is staying in there. Batista has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Batista looking to control but Sapp is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sapp keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Batista wants to control the pace but Sapp is squirming around nicely. Batista prevents Sapp from getting the reversal. Batista lands a big elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Batista controlling from mount. Batista trying to control but Sapp is having none of it. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abott bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Slice is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Abott stands up and beckons Slice to his feet. Slice stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Slice wants it to stay on the feet. Abott has Slice up against the cage in a clinch.
Slice drags the fight down to the ground.
Abott drops back looking for a leg! Slice is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Slice manages to kick Abott off! Abott jumps back into Slice's guard. Slice is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Abott wants to control from the top but Slice keeps moving. Abott controls from within his opponent's guard. Abott trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Slice trying to control the position.

Slice shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Abott's guard. Slice throws a big elbow that misses. Abott looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Abott is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. That was a close second round but I would say that Kimbo Slice will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Slice changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abott tries to avoid it but Slice manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abott to the ground. Abott escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Abott tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slice paws at him with a jab and circles away. Abott blocks a head kick by Slice.
Slice tries to clinch but Abott is having none of it. Abott smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Slice is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Slice throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Abott was covering up waiting for the punch and Slice finishes the takedown easily into guard. Abott looking for a sweep. Not yet Abott, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abott is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Abott is adopting a defensive guard. Abott is trying to keep Slice in close.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Abott is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Slice decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Abott pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Slice shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Abott defends it nicely. Abott shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Slice as he avoids it easily. Slice is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Abott throws the left hand but Slice avoids the punch easily. Abott throws a leg kick but Slice checks it. Slice is looking to clinch but Abott is avoiding it.
Abott will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Slice with a lazy takedown attempt and Abott counters by clinching up. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kimbo Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him. Slice fails to pull guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Slice tries for a takedown. No joy.
Slice escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kimbo Slice. I think Slice has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Blaszczyk looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Blaszczyk dodges the ground and pound from Moses. Blaszczyk prevents Moses from moving into mount. Moses is looking to take a break and control but Blaszczyk is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ground and pound from Moses seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Moses staying calm. Moses is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Blaszczyk knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Moses misses with the ground and pound. Blaszczyk is breathing heavily.

Moses forces his way into half guard. Well, if Moses is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Washington misses with a takedown and Hamfist moves into the clinch. Washington is trying to break free. A nice right hand lands inside from Hamfist. Washington is trying to force a seperation but Hamfist has the dominant position. Washington is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hamfist to keep the fight standing. Hamfist has hold of one of Washington's legs. Washington is fighting the takedown attempt but Hamfist gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Hamfist is pushing down on Washington's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lambert tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Marella swivels and escapes. Marella fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lambert avoids it really well and circles away. Lambert drives through and clinches with Marella against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Marella scores with a nice short uppercut. Lambert decides to pull guard. Marella slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marella wanted to stand there but Lambert had control of the position. Lambert keeping moving, preventing Marella from controlling successfully.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Tanner as Beavis shoots in. Tanner rushes Beavis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tanner misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Beavis.
Beavis tries to score a body lock takedown but Tanner shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Tanner is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Beavis to keep the fight standing. Tanner has had enough of the clinch but Beavis keeps him there for the moment. Beavis breaks from the clinch.

and Tanner counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Beavis lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tanner! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beavis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tanner is looking to escape. Tanner is trying to escape the mount.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Beavis wants to control but Tanner is keeping busy.

George Tanner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Biggie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dudley's waist but Dudley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Biggie off to one side. Dudley looking to score a takedown here. Biggie is defending well but Dudley drives through and ends up in Biggie's guard. Dudley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dudley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dudley looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Biggie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dudley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Biggie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
