The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harrison wants to land a leg kick but Bishop is out of range. Bobby Harrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harrison shoots in for a takedown but Bishop shows good takedown defense. Harrison moves out of range as Bishop strikes. Bishop wants to clinch. Harrison throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Harrison throws a half hearted mid kick. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Harrison lands a jab to the nose. Harrison shoots for a double leg takedown but Bishop sprawls well. He's pushed Harrison's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Harrison lands a slapping body shot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Connors throws a right hand that misses
and Allen counters with a nice uppercut. Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Connors swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nice defenses there by Allen. Allen throws a head kick that misses. Allen fails with an attempt to clinch.

Connors has taken the fight to the clinch.
Connors is trying to break the clinch but Allen has him pressed against the cage. Allen blocking some punches.
Allen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. No luck with that takedown attempt from Connors. Allen misses with a wild combination.
Allen moves in looking to clinch but Connors pushes him off. Connors moves out of range of the leg kick from Allen. Connors throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Connors gets in close and instigates a clinch. Connors tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Allen's elbow. A frustrated look appears on Connors's face as he tries to break the clinch. Connors throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Allen has Connors pressed against the cage, preventing Connors from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Connors lands a right hand. A head punch blocked on the inside by Connors. Allen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Allen wants to clinch. Connors shoots for a double leg takedown but Allen sprawls well. He's pushed Connors's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Allen stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craig Connors. That's going to take a lot out of him. Connors fails with the takedown. Connors keeps the fight on the outside. Allen slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Connors fails with a takedown attempt. Allen pushes Connors up against the cage in a clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Connors creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Connors paws at him with a jab and circles away. A jab from Connors finds it's way through Allen's defenses. A nice inside leg kick there by Allen. That's going to slow Connors down. Allen wants to clinch up but Connors keeps it at a distance. No joy there for Allen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Allen wants to clinch. Connors checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Allen lands a jab to Connors's midsection. Connors is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Allen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Connors but Connors pushes him off and we're back to square one. An inside leg kick from Allen misses. Allen throws a body kick that misses. Connors shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Allen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Allen's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Allen duly obliges. Connors chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Allen can pounce on him.
Allen lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Connors sprawling to the canvas. Allen follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Connors hang on?
It looks like Craig Connors has been cut. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Allen thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Connors's head. Allen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Allen missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Allen seems to be looking for submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Allen decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Allen gets in close and instigates a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Connors gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Allen. Allen tries to clinch up. Craig Connors is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Connors tries to keep at a distance but Allen has taken the fight into the clinch. Connors dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Allen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Connors escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Connors rushes Allen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Connors goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Allen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Allen tries to clinch up but Connors circles away and keeps his distance. Allen tries to clinch but Connors moves out of range. Allen slips a straight right by Connors. Connors looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Connors. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Connors looks to land a left hand but Allen moved out of range nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen rushes Connors and presses him up against the cage. Allen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Connors tries to work over Allen's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A body shot lands from Connors.
Allen is trying to drag Connors to the mat but Connors just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Allen blocks an uppercut.

Connors is trying to force a seperation but Allen has the dominant position. Allen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Connors walks away with a smile on his face. Allen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Allen doesn't manage to clinch there - Connors circles away.
Allen drops Connors with a right and a left! Allen comes rushing in but Connors regains his composure and manages to keep Allen in guard.
Connors is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Allen stands and steps away. Connors gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Oh Connors is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Connors changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Allen tries to avoid it but Connors manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Allen to the ground. Allen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Allen grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Connors takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Allen cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

Farhire scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bresner doesn't seem bothered though. Farhire punishes Bresner's body with a nice straight punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Farhire lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Bresner is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bresner tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Farhire was well out of range. Poor timing from Bresner. Bresner avoids the body shot from Farhire.
Bresner moves to clinch but Farhire breaks away and Bresner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Bresner tries to clinch there but Farhire circles away.
Bresner fails with the takedown. Bresner tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bigmon Farhire is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Farhire should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bresner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Farhire manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Farhire looks to land a combination. Bresner sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Farhire cracks Bresner with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bresner tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Farhire pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bresner is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anthony shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mercier counters with a good, hard body kick but Anthony shrugs it off. Mercier scores with a one two! Anthony had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anthony has gone for a leg lock! Mercier slips out almost immediately though and dives into Anthony's guard. Mercier works over Anthony with some ground and pound from guard. Anthony is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Anthony is desperately trying to improve his position but Mercier has a good base and remains in mount. BOOM! Mercier connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Mercier tries to improve position but can't. Anthony tries for a kimura but Mercier is defending well. Anthony stands up and we're back to a striking position. Anthony uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mercier.

That's going to take a lot out of Stephen Anthony. Mercier lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mercier lands with a straight right. Anthony didn't see that one coming. Anthony has his takedown stuffed and Mercier counters with a right hand to the body. Stephen Anthony is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Anthony is breathing heavily. Anthony loses concentration momentarily and Mercier pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Anthony crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Mercier finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Darian gets caught flat footed, as Berg shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Darian wants to stand up but Berg is controlling him. Berg throws a strike but Darian rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Darian stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Berg swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Marciano listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Rocky Marciano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cerveny uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. A telegraphed right hand from Marciano misses the target. Good leg kick by Marciano there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Marciano fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cerveny avoids it really well and circles away. Marciano really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cerveny throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Cerveny throws a head kick but Marciano moves out of range.
Marciano avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cerveny lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cerveny throws a leg kick which misses Marciano's front leg but catches the back leg as Marciano tries to avoid it. A combination from Cerveny does no damage. Cerveny walks into a straight right hand from Marciano.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marciano jabs at Cerveny's body. Cerveny throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marciano. Cerveny throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Marciano rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cerveny connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Marciano uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cerveny.
Cerveny misses with a hook. Marciano feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cervenys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Cerveny throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Marciano to counter with a crisp jab. Cerveny tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Marciano was well out of range. Poor timing from Cerveny. Marciano swats away the attempt to clinch by Cerveny. A looping hook to the body misses from Cerveny. Marciano does a little dance to reset his feet. Marciano scores with a hook.

Cerveny falls off balance throwing a combination
and Marciano counters with a stiff right hand. Marciano shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cerveny sprawls well. Cerveny wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marciano gets slowly back to his feet.
