The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wynn throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Christ counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Christ clinches up with Wynn and pushes him back against the cage. Wynn is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Christ swings wildly with an uppercut but Wynn uses good head movement to avoid it. Christ lands a right hand. Christ misses with a knee to the head. Christ lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Wynn backwards. Christ lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Wynn backwards. Christ tries to throw a body punch but Wynn avoids it by throwing Christ back against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Wynn controlling from side mount. Wynn lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Christ down.

Wynn is looking to take a break and control but Christ is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wynn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Christ takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Wynn tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wynn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wynn swings around for an armbar but Christ sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Wynn's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Christ gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Christ keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Christ thumps Wynn with a low kick. Willie Wynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wynn ducks under a wild hook from Christ. Christ scores with a decent looking hook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wynn on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Craig Christ will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Willie Wynn's cut. That's the end of the interval. Christ throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A slow jab from Christ misses its intended target. Christ lands with a nice combination. Wynn backs away looking to recover. Christ listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Christ fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Christ avoids a punch combination nicely.

Hastings prevents Cutting from breaking the clinch. Hastings drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cutting pulls his leg out and moves away.
Cutting is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hastings shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hastings trying to control but he's not successful this time. Haskins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Handel manages to avoid it. Haskins throws a body punch but Handel moves out of range. Handel ducks right into an uppercut from Haskins. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alexandrov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Po sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Alexandrov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Anton Alexandrov has been cut. Alexandrov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Po defends it nicely. Po clobbers Alexandrov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Po defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Alexandrov. Tong Po has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now.
