Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tom Lloyd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Vincent Hosking! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lloyd fails with the takedown. Hosking drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lloyd tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hosking wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hosking trying to control the action but Lloyd is working from the bottom. Hosking throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Lloyd works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hosking seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lloyd does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lloyd gets back to full guard.
Hosking trying to control but Lloyd is working from the bottom. Lloyd has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hosking off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hosking tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lloyd swivels and escapes. Hosking displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lloyd. Lloyd throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hosking tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lloyd is in Hosking's guard. Lloyd stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hosking swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hosking tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lloyd passes Hosking's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Lloyd is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hosking sees it coming and defends easily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lloyd seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lloyd with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Lloyd wants to control but Hosking is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lloyd looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Lloyd is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lloyd wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hosking keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lloyd lands with a punch from half guard. Lloyd is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hosking doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lloyd. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lloyd lands a nice short elbow. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lloyd seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hosking does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lloyd is looking for a kimura but Hosking is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lloyd to get the leverage. Lloyd postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hosking to stand up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No luck for Lloyd with that takedown attempt. Lloyd clinches. Lloyd is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hosking can't fight it off and eventually Lloyd manages to take the fight to the floor. Hosking looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Hosking wants to stand and escape but Lloyd is having none of it. Lloyd works over Hosking with some ground and pound from guard. Hosking keeping moving, preventing Lloyd from controlling successfully. Lloyd passes easily into side control. Nice work. A lull in the action here as Lloyd stalls from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lloyd cracks Hosking with an elbow. That is naaassty. Hosking is not content to let Lloyd control the position. Hosking tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lloyd thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hosking is trying to improve his position. Lloyd throws an elbow but Hosking slips to the side and avoids it well. Lloyd looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Lloyd scoring with punches and elbows. Tom Lloyd overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hosking struggling a bit here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lloyd working the body and head with strikes.

Hosking dodges the ground and pound from Lloyd. Lloyd trying to control the action but Hosking is working from the bottom. Hosking is trying to control Lloyd's posture but Lloyd avoids it.

Hosking dodges the ground and pound from Lloyd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lloyd wants to control but Hosking is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Lloyd dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Lloyd gets slowly back to his feet. Lloyd shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hosking counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Lloyd. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lloyd displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hosking. Hosking gets a clinch. Lloyd drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hosking pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hosking looks to land a body kick but Lloyd moved away. Hosking throws a series of punches but Lloyd moves out of range. Lloyd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hosking swivels and escapes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hosking closes the distance and clinches up with Lloyd, looking for a takedown. Hosking pushes Lloyd against the cage but Lloyd circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lloyd shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Hosking is trying to stand up here but Lloyd is controlling him well. Lloyd lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Lloyd looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Lloyd is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hosking has managed to free his arm - good work. Lloyd stalling away here and it's allowed Hosking to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lloyd is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lloyd wants to pass the guard but Hosking is keeping the position. Lloyd advances position into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hosking prevents Lloyd from improving position. Lloyd trying to control the position but Hosking is working away. Lloyd lands an elbow. Lloyd tries to score with some ground and pound. Hosking controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Tom Lloyd is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hosking is trying to buck Lloyd off. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lloyd works to advance to full mount. Hosking defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Lloyd controlling the position easily from mount. Lloyd stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Lloyd closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hosking to the mat! Hosking manages to get full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lloyd controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lloyd has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Tom Lloyd showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lloyd, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duckworth gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Dowiyogo lands a nice knee to the body. Dowiyogo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Duckworth avoids it. Duckworth has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Dowiyogo regains guard immediately. Duckworth sitting in guard here, content to control. Duckworth stops Dowiyogo from standing up. Dowiyogo keeping full guard, as Duckworth tries to pass. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We're going to have a standup here because Jack Duckworth wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. A shot to the liver by Duckworth. Beautiful body shot. Grover Dowiyogo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That had to hurt Duckworth. Dowiyogo moves in looking to clinch but Duckworth pushes him off. Dowiyogo tries to clinch up enabling Duckworth to counter with a crisp jab. The fight stays on the outside here - Dowiyogo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Grover Dowiyogo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dowiyogo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Duckworth manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dowiyogo tries to close the distance and clinch but Duckworth swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The fight stays on the outside here - Dowiyogo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Duckworth shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dowiyogo tries to clinch up. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That kick from Damsted Andersen tenderised Adams's leg. Adams is trying to keep his angry face on. Adams wants to clinch up but Damsted Andersen keeps it at a distance. Adams looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Damsted Andersen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Damsted Andersen lands a lovely overhand right. Damsted Andersen delivers a nice body kick. Adams has a takedown stuffed. Damsted Andersen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Adams's guard. Adams wants to sweep here but Damsted Andersen controlling him for the moment. Adams wants to get back to his feet but Damsted Andersen is in a dominant position and won't allow it. John Alphen Martirez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Martirez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Martirez fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Martirez misses with a takedown attempt and Wufie counters with a good low kick that Martirez was not able to check. Torres closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Prestol's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Torres trying to control but Prestol is working from the bottom. Torres might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Torres stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Prestol swivels though and keeps the full guard. Torres looking to control the position here, rather than advance. 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sticky Buds! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buds fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Saddi on the side of the head. Buds works Saddi's body with a nice hook. Saddi shoots and misses enabling Buds to counter with a crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Saddi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Buds manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bob Saddi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Saddi tries for a takedown but Buds circles away easily and Buds counters with a straight right hand. Buds looks to land a combination but Saddi avoids it well. Buds steps into range and cracks Saddi with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Saddi flops backwards and Buds dives into his guard looking to finish!
Saddi is rocked! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Buds is looking to stand up but Saddi won't let him. Oh Saddi is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Saddi seems to have got his legs back now. Saddi uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Saddi gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Buds gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Saddi is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

De Camlan wants to stand and escape but instead Saxon has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Saxon passes into half guard. Saxon seems to be looking for submissions.
De Camlan is trying to get back to full guard. Saxon looking for a submission but De Camlan manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Saxon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. De Camlan is keeping the position for now. Saxon stands and throws De Camlan's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Saxon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but De Camlan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Saxon has De Camlan in his guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. De Camlan trying to control the position from guard on top but Saxon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. De Camlan stands up from Saxon's guard - De Camlan perhaps looking for a knockout. A punch combination from De Camlan misses. Saxon shoots in for a double leg but De Camlan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. De Camlan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! De Camlan in side control, throwing shots but Saxon defends.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Camlan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saxon keeps working. De Camlan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Saxon kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. De Camlan takes a little break here. Saxon wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Saxon sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Saxon is not content to let De Camlan control the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Saxon looking for subs from the bottom but De Camlan mounts him!
That's four minutes gone in the round. De Camlan is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! De Camlan lands with an overhand left. Saxon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with De Camlan but De Camlan pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jax Saxon. That's going to take a lot out of him. De Camlan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Saxon eats them both and turns towards De Camlan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Jax Saxon has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bors De Camlan dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jax Saxon's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

De Camlan looking to sit in guard and control but Saxon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Saxon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. De Camlan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Saxon looking for submissions from an awkward position here. De Camlan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. De Camlan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

De Camlan pushing down on Saxon's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Saxon gets full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

De Camlan defending well as Saxon loads up on a big left hand. De Camlan tests Saxon's chin there with a solid looking shot. Saxon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by De Camlan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Camlan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Saxon eats them both and turns towards De Camlan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Saxon. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Saxon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and De Camlan counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. De Camlan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jax Saxon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! De Camlan lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Saxon shoots and misses and De Camlan counters with a lovely straight right hand! De Camlan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Saxon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A left and a right from De Camlan both land. Nice combination. De Camlan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Saxon rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and De Camlan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Camlan wants to pass the guard but Saxon is defending well. De Camlan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. De Camlan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Saxon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time De Camlan. Saxon is staying active underneath De Camlan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

De Camlan wants to take a breather but Saxon is having none of it. De Camlan slips a nice elbow through Saxon's hands, connecting with Saxon's forehead. De Camlan throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Saxon to regain full guard. De Camlan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Saxon is keeping the position for now. De Camlan passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bors De Camlan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! De Camlan is looking to take a break and control but Saxon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jax Saxon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! De Camlan working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
And that's the end of the fight! Bors De Camlan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well De Camlan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
