The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gatti shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jones scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Jones wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Gatti uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gatti on the ground. Gatti striking off his back but it's not causing Jones any problems. Gatti looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gatti had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gatti is looking for a triangle here but Jones uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Jones tries to stand but Gatti is controlling his head. Gatti tries to buck Jones off but Jones is having none of it. Jones decides to stand back up. Jones steps back and let's Gatti get back to his feet. Ethan Gatti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some wild striking there from Gatti.
Gatti changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Gatti manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gatti shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily. Twig Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ethan Gatti. Gatti gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard. Gatti is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to stand but Gatti is controlling from the bottom. Gatti is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Gatti fails with a takedown attempt. Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones stands up. Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into Gatti's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Twig Jones dominated that round. That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Gatti to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Gatti is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gatti passes into half guard. Gatti has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jones defend it? Gatti steps over the head and cranks it - Jones is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gatti!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fenix showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from X.
X looks to land a combination but Fenix avoids it well. X misses with a double jab
and Fenix counters with a left and a right that stings X. X shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fenix defends it nicely. Fenix swings for the body but X moves out of range.
Fenix stuffs the takedown. X throws a nice looking combination but Fenix bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Fenix shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. X manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. X keeping moving, preventing Fenix from controlling successfully. Fenix pushing down on X's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fenix with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Fenix is keen to just control but X is a slippery customer.
We're going to have a standup here because Marcus Fenix wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Fenix with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
X takes one to the chin there. X shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fenix sprawls well. Fenix wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. X gets slowly back to his feet. Marcus Fenix has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rellik X. No joy there for X, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. X lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fenix circles away quickly and effectively. X throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fenix counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Fenix lands with a kick to the ribs.
Fenix throws a nice inside leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fenix misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from X.
X tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fenix paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fenix is looking to clinch but X is avoiding it.
X swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fenix counters with an outside leg kick.
Fenix motions for X to come forward. Fenix throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Rellik X seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fenix dips down and scores with a jab to the body. X fails in his attempt to clinch. X throws a series of punches but Fenix avoids them all with ease. Fenix misses with a two punch combination.
X connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. X misses with the combination.

Those never looked like landing. X shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fenix as he jumps to the side. A decent looking cross lands there for Fenix. Fenix fakes the leg kick and cracks X in the body. Fenix chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before X can pounce on him.
Fenix scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. X doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. X looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fenix showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from X.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fenix takes a swing at X's ribcage but misses. Fenix is looking to wear down X with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Fenix shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Fenix in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Fenix is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. X can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fenix goes for an armbar but he's not got it… X turns into him and now he's in Fenix's guard.

Fenix drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fenix tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fenix has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Fenix swings around for an armbar but X sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fenix's guard. X slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. X is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fenix has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Fenix's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. X wants to control but Fenix is keeping him busy. Fenix is trying to improve his position. Fenix sneaks back into half guard. Fenix wants to improve his position but X is controlling well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fenix landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice inside leg kick there by Orton. That's going to slow Harrison down. Harrison fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Orton has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Harrison throws a body punch but Orton moves out of range. Harrison takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A slow jab from Harrison misses its intended target. Orton throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Harrison sees it coming and avoids it easily. Orton lands with a thumping leg kick.
Harrison throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Harrison takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. That kick from Harrison tenderised Orton's leg. Orton is trying to keep his angry face on. Orton throws a leg kick that is checked and Harrison counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice defenses there by Harrison. Harrison looks to land a left hand but Orton moved out of range nicely. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Harrison. Orton shrugs it off though. Orton throws a leg kick that misses. Harrison scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Orton throws out a powerful jab.

Orton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Harrison circles away quickly and effectively. Orton cracks Harrison with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Harrison is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Orton. Harrison misses with a hook. Randy Orton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A lazy left from Harrison finds it's target. Orton misses the shot to the body. Orton slips under a jab. Harrison pivots, looking for a leg kick but Orton is out of range and Harrison settles back down. Orton avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Harrison lands with a right hand. Orton lands a nice hook to Harrison's body. Harrison takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Harrison misses with a straight right. Harrison scores with the left hand. Orton knows he should have avoided that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Harrison changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Harrison misses with a body kick. Harrison avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Harrison lands a jab to Orton's midsection. Harrison closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Orton! Harrison dives in looking to finish! Orton is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Cook eats them both and turns towards Ronbo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Ronbo moves into the clinch. Cook is struggling to control the position. Cook lands a body shot in the clinch.
Cook has Ronbo pressed against the cage, preventing Ronbo from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Ronbo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ronbo connects with a knee to the head.

Cook lands a leg kick that knocks Ronbo off balance momentarily. Cook fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ronbo manages to avoid it. Ronbo checks the leg kick. Cook connects with a nice looking jab.
Cook throws an overhand right that lands on Ronbo's shoulder, as Ronbo tries to avoid the shot. Ronbo moves into range and clinches up with Cook. Cook breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ronbo closes the distance but Cook moves to the side and Cook connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cook throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ronbo wants to clinch. Ronbo walks into a left hand. Ronbo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cook, pushing him back against the cage. Ronbo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cook stalks Ronbo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ronbo's face. Ronbo staggers backwards, shaken. Ronbo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

and Ronbo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ronbo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ronbo tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Cook counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ronbo thinking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ronbo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jab, jab by Ronbo - just one landing. Cook scores with a punch to the head. Cook fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Can Cook finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cook scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ronbo doesn't seem bothered though. Cook checks a low kick from Ronbo. Cook is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Cook walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Ronbo drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Ruff has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Orton is really squeezing tight and eventually Ruff passes out! Orton breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Omaly closes this distance looking for a takedown but Blair circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Omaly. That's going to take a lot out of him. Omaly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Blair. Blair uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Omaly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gibson checks a low kick from Jones. Gibson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jones connects with a jab.
It looks like Scott Gibson has been cut. Gibson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gibson shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gibson. Gibson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Gibson is breathing heavily. Jones wants to slow Gibson down by chopping away at his legs. Gibson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Jones is looking to slow Gibson down with leg kicks. Gibson clinches with his opponent.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gibson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Jones receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Gibson wants a takedown.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gibson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Jeez, Scott Gibson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gibson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gibson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones. Jasper Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jones throws out a loose jab but Gibson uses good head movement to avoid it. Gibson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jones can pounce on him.

Jones lands a high kick to the side of Gibson's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Jones dives into guard, looking to finish.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Scott Gibson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
