5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sam Hades! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hades listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hades motions for Nevsky to come forward. Hades throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Nevsky throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hades's waist but Hades gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nevsky off to one side. Hades throws a sloppy body shot
enabling Nevsky to counter with a crisp jab. Nevsky on the wrong end of a nice jab. A solid leg kick lands there for Hades.
Hades digs a good body shot into Nevsky's ribs.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Hades tries to work over Nevsky's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hades misses with a punch on the inside.
Hades lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A right hook to the body lands for Hades.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nevsky blocks an uppercut.

Jab, jab by Hades - just one landing. Sam Hades is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hades lands with a right hand. Sam Hades seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nevsky takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Nevsky shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A jab lands there for Hades. Nevsky checks a low kick from Hades. Hades is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Some bone on bone action there as Nevsky checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Hades tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nevsky swats him away and circles back towards the center. A punch lands to the side of Nevsky 's head but he takes it in his stride.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Hades moves to clinch but Nevsky breaks away and Nevsky counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nevsky dives in and grabs Hades's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hades pushes down on Nevsky's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Nevsky. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hades uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nevsky has time to react. Nevsky shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hades but Hades pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nevsky with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Hades to counter with a crisp jab. Hades fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Hades misses with a low kick as Nevsky jumps back. Hades lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Hades swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nevsky. Hades cracks a nice hook into Nevsky's ribs. Nevsky throws a jab but it's blocked by Hades.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Good work by Nevsky as he checks the leg kick. Hades is looking to clinch but Nevsky is avoiding it.
Nevsky shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Nevsky missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Hades is controlling Nevsky's position as best he can from this difficult position. Nevsky working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Nevsky missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hades looks like he's trying to stand up.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nevsky connects with a nice short shot to Hades's temple.

Nevsky is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Hades to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. Nevsky throws a big elbow that misses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hades seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Nevsky throws a strike but Hades rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Nevsky is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hades is aware though and is defending well. Nevsky is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sam Hades dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hades lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nevsky shoots in and bounces Hades off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Nevsky preventing the sweep. Hades pulls Nevsky in close to prevent any damage. Hades working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Nevsky. Nevsky is fighting to break Hades's control of his arms but Hades is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Nevsky throws a big right hand that misses. Nevsky has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hades is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

 The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sam Hades wasn't active enough on the ground. Hades uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Hades lunges at Nevsky with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nevsky's hand. Nevsky fails with a takedown attempt. Hades misses the shot to the body. Hades scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Nevsky fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nevsky dives in and grabs Hades's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hades pushes down on Nevsky's head and hops out. Hades changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Hades tries to close the distance and clinch but Nevsky swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Hades throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Hades uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nevsky. Hades misses with a low kick. Nevsky takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hades misses with a few strikes there.
Nevsky looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nice uppercut there from Hades. Hades moves out of range as Nevsky strikes. Nevsky takes a shot right to the bread basket. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hades tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Nevsky decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hades's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Hades showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Nevsky takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Hades stalks Nevsky and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nevsky's face. Nevsky staggers backwards, shaken. Hades tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nevsky paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hades works the jab nicely. The fighters circle momentarily. Hades darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Hades fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nevsky looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nevsky gets tackled into the cage by Hades. Hades maintains the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hades's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Hades tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nevsky was well out of range. Poor timing from Hades. Nevsky shoots in for a takedown but Hades shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nevsky swats away the attempt to clinch by Hades.

Panow shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Panow was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Suhonen gets back to half guard. Suhonen is refusing to be controlled, as Panow sits in half guard. Suhonen controlling the position well. Suhonen slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Suhonen pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Panow taps out and this one is all over!

Boy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Boy is looking for a sweep. Lesnariano is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fuuhaku is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Snoozer wants to take a breather but Fuuhaku is having none of it. Snoozer thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Snoozer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Snoozer thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fuuhaku's head.

He's simply no match for Snoozer on the ground. Snoozer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fuuhaku keeps working. Fuuhaku tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Snoozer has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Snoozer lands with some strikes. Snoozer misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Raduchenko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Skiter manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Raduchenko is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Raduchenko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Raduchenko postures up in Skiter's guard and throws a big left but Skiter blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Raduchenko prevents Skiter from getting back to his feet. Skiter wants to sweep here but Raduchenko controlling him for the moment. Raduchenko throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Skiter works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
