The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jankowski closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Brown's guard.

Rock clobbers Hitch with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Sack Hitch has been cut.
Rock moves in looking to clinch but Hitch pushes him off.

and Hitch counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rock's guard now.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Maciej Gorski.
