Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Lice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takahiro Tamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tamura is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: TaikOz. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tamura misses with a body kick. Tamura pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Donk. Tamura catches Lice right on the button with a cross. Tamura lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Lice uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tamura has time to react. Tamura misses with a few strikes there.
Lice ducks right into an uppercut from Tamura. Tamura throws a head kick that misses and Lice counters with a straight right hand. Lice avoids the head kick by Tamura.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tamura throws a body kick that misses. Lice connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tamura's hands. A punch combination from Tamura misses. A punch combination from Tamura misses. Tamura looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Lice throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tamura counters with a stiff right hand. Lice takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Lice throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tamura sees it coming and avoids it easily. Tamura misses with a few strikes there.

Lice takes a swing at Tamura's ribcage but misses. Lice wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Tamura looks gassed! Lice uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tamura has time to react. Tamura looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Lice cracks a nice hook into Tamura's ribs. Lice lands with an overhand left.
Tamura is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lice drops Tamura with a naaaaasty hook - Tamura is in real trouble here! Lice dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

A very excited looking Kimbo Lice made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Luuttu. Croix throws a right and a left that Luuttu avoids nicely. Luuttu shoots in and drives through. Croix sprawls well. Croix scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Luuttu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Croix avoids it really well and circles away. Croix's corner calls for a 1-2. Croix obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Croix tries to sprawl but Luuttu drives through with a takedown into half guard. Croix is looking to escape. Luuttu is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Luuttu thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Croix's head. Luuttu throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Luuttu missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Croix pushes Luuttu off looking to stand but Luuttu dives back in and keeps control.
Luuttu throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Croix to regain full guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Luuttu's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Croix is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Luuttu is controlling him. Luuttu working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Croix avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Croix utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Luuttu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Croix works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Croix preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Luuttu wants to control from the top but Croix keeps moving. Luuttu throws a big right hand that misses. Luuttu content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Luuttu prevents Croix from getting back to his feet. Luuttu makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Luuttu trying to control but Croix is working from the bottom. Luuttu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Croix working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Luuttu. Luuttu trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Luuttu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Luuttu throwing strikes but missing. Luuttu throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Croix works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Luuttu postures up in Croix's guard and throws a big left but Croix blocks it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Croix can do anything to dispel that myth. Croix keeping full guard, as Luuttu tries to pass. Luuttu in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Luuttu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Luuttu prevents Croix from getting back to his feet. Luuttu throws an elbow that misses. Croix uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Luuttu's guard. Nice move by Croix! Croix wants to get up but he can't break Luuttu's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Luuttu is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Croix stands and steps away. Luuttu gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Luuttu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Croix stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Luuttu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Croix swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matto Luuttu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Croix scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Luuttu misses with a wild combination.
Croix lands a jab to the head.
Croix wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Croix smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Luuttu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Croix swats him away and circles back towards the center. A jab lands there for Croix. Luuttu with a lazy takedown attempt and Croix counters with a left and a right that stings Luuttu. Luuttu is breathing heavily. Croix ducks down and throws a hook to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Matto Luuttu will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Horrible takedown by Luuttu or perhaps it was just good defense by Croix which made him look bad. Croix slaps away a takedown attempt from Luuttu, before circling back to the center of the mat. Luuttu has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matto Luuttu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from Croix. No joy for Luuttu on that attempt. Croix digs a good hook to Luuttu's body.
Croix lands with an uppercut that bounces Luuttu off the cage and back into range. Luuttu ducks right into an uppercut from Croix. Luuttu tries to move into range but Croix moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Croix comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Luuttu dodges the punch combination from Croix.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Croix pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Luuttu back to the cage. Croix follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Matto Luuttu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Luuttu misses with the combination.
Luuttu takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Luuttu takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Luuttu misses with a takedown and Croix counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Croix lands with an uppercut that bounces Luuttu off the cage and back into range. The crowd cheers as Croix lands an impressive looking overhand right. Luuttu doesn't seem phased though.

This has been an exciting period of action! Croix controlling the pace for now. Luuttu seems to have got his legs back now. Croix get's back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Luuttu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Luuttu is defended easily by Croix. Luuttu takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Croix defends it well. Luuttu wants to control but Croix is keeping him busy. Ground and pound from Luuttu. Luuttu is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Croix doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Luuttu.

Luuttu throwing strikes from guard but Croix blocks nicely. Luuttu with a flurry of punches that miss. Croix lands with a straight right. Luuttu didn't see that one coming. Croix scores with a jab to the body. Luuttu walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Tony Croix seems to be getting the better of the standup. Luuttu throws a big shot that misses. Croix listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Croix's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Croix duly obliges. Croix scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Luuttu doesn't seem bothered though. Croix lands a nice shot that snaps Luuttu's head back.
Luuttu looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Croix bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Luuttu's head backwards. Luuttu moves to clinch but Croix breaks away and Croix counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Luuttu shoots in for a takedown but Croix shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Croix fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Croix scores with the left hand. Luuttu knows he should have avoided that one. Luuttu shoots in and drives through. Croix sprawls well. Croix throws a series of punches but Luuttu avoids them all with ease. A decent looking cross lands there for Croix. Luuttu takes a shot to the body in his stride.

A jab from Croix finds it's way through Luuttu's defenses. Luuttu closes the distance and clinches up with Croix, looking for a takedown. Luuttu pushes Croix against the cage but Croix circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Tony Croix comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Croix has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good leg kick by Carvalho there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kim closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carvalho did well to prevent Kim getting side control. Kim not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kim connects with a couple of short punches. Kim avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Bauer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Negreanu jumps guard but Bauer turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Vic Bauer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Negreanu. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bauer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bauer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bauer wants to control from the top but Negreanu keeps moving. Bauer with a flurry of punches that miss. Negreanu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bauer defends well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bauer forces his way into half guard. Bauer is pressing down on Negreanu's thigh, looking to free his foot. Negreanu is holding on for now. Negreanu is trying to control but can't.
Bauer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Negreanu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Negreanu tries to roll over but Bauer keeps him under control. Negreanu slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bauer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bauer is in close to Negreanu's body, working some short punches and elbows. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bauer postures up in Negreanu's guard and throws a big left but Negreanu blocks it. Bauer scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Negreanu has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bauer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Negreanu. Negreanu tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bauer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vic Bauer. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bauer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Black wants to control from the top but Wang keeps moving. Wang looking for a sweep. Not yet Wang, not yet. Wang manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Black manages to get himself to full guard.
Black looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Wang has picked Black up and slammed him! Black can't keep hold of the triangle and Wang manages to pass to side control! Black throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.

Wang takes a swing at Black's ribcage but misses. Wang lands with an uppercut that bounces Black off the cage and back into range. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wang, as that shot connected.

He thinks about going to the ground but Machine looks back up at him and smiles so Overeem waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Korpisuo lands with some strikes. Rupunen tries to lock up and control but Korpisuo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Rupunen is trying to escape the mount.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seagull fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Seagull fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Liisteri on the side of the head. Liisteri shoots for a takedown but Seagull saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Seagull tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Liisteri misses with a hook. Liisteri fails with a takedown attempt. Seagull displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Liisteri. It connects and Liisteri has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Seagull comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Liisteri is rocked! Seagull dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Liisteri. That did some damage! Oh Liisteri is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Liisteri shoots in for a double leg but Seagull sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Liisteri on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Liisteri seems to have got his legs back now. Sevent Seagull seems to be getting the better of the standup. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Seagull clobbers Liisteri with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Seagull lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Liisteri misses with a takedown and Seagull counters with a head kick that wobbles Liisteri - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Seagull sends him down. This one is all over!

That snapped Brigante's head back.

"I'm sorry" says Brigante. Mask manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Mask throws a sloppy head kick and Brigante moves out of range easily. Brigante is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
