Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Juarez screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kid Torres seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Bruens shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Adam as he avoids it easily.

Bruens closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bruens lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bruens is fighting to break Adam's control of his arms but Adam is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Adam has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bruens can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Adam has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Bruens is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Adam.

Steel is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jackson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jackson has escaped and now he's on top!

Steel isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jackson stacks Steel on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jackson!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Steel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Steel pushes a forearm under Jackson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jackson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boo looks to land a right hand but Zagloba moved out of range.
Boo works Zagloba's body with a nice hook.
Boo moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

It looks like Onufry Zagloba has been cut.

Zagloba defending well as Boo loads up on a big left hand.
Zagloba dives in and grabs Boo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boo pushes down on Zagloba's head and hops out.
Zagloba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Boo.
Boo misses with a hook. Zagloba ducked under it nicely.

enabling Boo to counter with a crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Boo waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Zagloba. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Zagloba to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Boo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Zagloba is still in real trouble! Can Boo finish him?

Boo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Zagloba wants to land a leg kick but Boo is out of range.
Zagloba seems to have recovered his senses.
Boo drops Zagloba with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Zagloba! Boo dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
