The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jolly moves into the clinch. The Nightmare can't get the takedown.
The Nightmare has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jolly avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Jolly lands a body shot. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jolly creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Jolly lands a nice uppercut.
It looks like Mroczny The Nightmare has been cut. The Nightmare keeps control of Jolly as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jolly lands a nice shot to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Nightmare letting Jolly take a breather here. Those have got to be taking their toll on The Nightmare's gas tank. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A left hand lands to the body for Jolly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woods fails with an attempt to clinch.
Woods closes the distance but Brunson moves to the side and Brunson counters with a two punch combo. Brunson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Woods moves away. Woods stalks Brunson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brunson's face. Brunson staggers backwards, shaken. Brunson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Woods.
Brunson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Woods. Woods throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brunson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Jason Woods has been cut. Brunson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Woods was well out of range. Poor timing from Brunson. Woods fails in his attempt to clinch. Woods scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Woods is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Brunson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Brunson misses with a jab, cross combination.

That could be painful for both fighters. Saeed gets caught napping as Lollapalooza dives in and scores a takedown. Saeed manages to retain guard. Saeed utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lollapalooza is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lollapalooza accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Saeed avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Saeed wants to get back to his feet but Lollapalooza is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lollapalooza throws an elbow that misses. Saeed uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lollapalooza's guard. Nice move by Saeed! Lollapalooza is trying to keep Saeed in close.

Lollapalooza drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lollapalooza is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Saeed is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Lollapalooza looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lollapalooza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Saeed keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Uday Saeed dominated that round. The cut man is working on Xavier Lollapalooza's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Saeed throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Lollapalooza's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Saeed dives in looking to finish as Lollapalooza flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Saeed's strikes! Saeed is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Lollapalooza's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Lollapalooza was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Davis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Smooth pinned against the cage. Smooth gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Smooth drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Davis is trying to control Smooth's posture but Smooth avoids it. Smooth fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Smooth working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Davis is looking for a sweep. Davis is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Smooth trying to control the position but Davis is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis is looking to regain half guard here but Smooth keeps moving and retains side control.

Smooth is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Smooth wants to sweep but no luck. Davis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Davis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Smooth keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully. Smooth throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smooth trying to keep a closed guard but Davis is proving a slippery customer.
Smooth keeping full guard, as Davis tries to pass. Smooth wants to sweep here but Davis controlling him for the moment. Smooth throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smooth looking for subs off his back but Davis has passed one foot through into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Smooth manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Smooth has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Smooth manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Davis manages to get himself to full guard.
Davis has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Smooth is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Davis. Smooth scoring with punches and elbows. Smooth trying to control the position but Davis is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davis struggling a bit here. Smooth stands up and we're back to a striking position. Horrible takedown by Davis or perhaps it was just good defense by Smooth which made him look bad. Nazz Smooth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Davis. Davis looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smooth with a body punch. A glancing blow. Davis looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Nazz Smooth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smooth darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Smooth passes to full mount! Davis is desperately trying to improve his position but Smooth has a good base and remains in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nazz Smooth dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Smooth goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Davis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smooth as he jumps to the side. Smooth swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Smooth wants to control the pace but Davis is squirming around nicely. Smooth swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Davis is now in Smooth's guard. A big mistake from Smooth there, giving up the dominant position! Davis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smooth swivels though and keeps the full guard. Smooth looking to hit a scissor sweep but Davis is one step ahead there.

Davis advances position into side control! Smooth is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Davis not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Smooth is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Smooth has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Davis. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faber tries to clinch but Makaha moves out of range. Makaha fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Faber, pushing him back against the cage. Makaha pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Faber closes the distance and clinches. Faber fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Makaha throws a head punch that misses. Faber pulls guard effortlessly. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Makaha keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Faber's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Makaha gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Makaha takes a swing at Faber's ribcage but misses. Makaha fails in his attempt to clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position.
