Ferreira shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Samedov as he jumps to the side.
Ferreira blocks a head kick by Samedov.
Ferreira closes this distance looking for a takedown but Samedov circles away.

Samedov lands a big head kick that sends Ferreira tumbling to the mat! Samedov takes a step backwards and waves Ferreira back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Gervaso Ferreira has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Samedov looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Samedov backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Ferreira's temple! It sends Ferreira violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Samedov celebrates and the doctors try to help Ferreira!

Smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nutzack Jnr tries to avoid it but Smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nutzack Jnr to the ground. Nutzack Jnr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rua leaves Prunea with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Prunea shoots for a double leg takedown but Rua sprawls well. He's pushed Prunea's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Both fighters circling a little - Rua finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Rojer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nesset tries to avoid it but Rojer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nesset to the ground. Nesset escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rojer is looking to break free of the clinch but Nesset has double underhooks.

Rojer dives in and grabs Nesset's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nesset pushes down on Rojer's head and hops out.
Rojer tries to clinch there but Nesset circles away.
Nesset scores with a jab to the head.
Nesset misses with a kick to the body
letting Rojer counter with a right hand.
Rojer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nesset but Nesset pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Nesset lands with a hook. Rojer tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Rojer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nesset as he jumps to the side.
Nesset fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Nesset throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rojer on the side of the head.
A solid leg kick lands there for Nesset.

Rojer wants to get back to striking at distance but Nesset won't allow it.

Nesset lands a body punch.
Nesset throws a head punch that misses.

Nesset escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rojer with a poor takedown
and Nesset counters with a nice uppercut.
Nesset throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rojer sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nesset takes a swing at Rojer's ribcage but misses.
Rojer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Ray Rojer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rojer goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rojer throws a right hand that Nesset ducks under and follows up with a left that Nesset also avoids with ease.
Nesset lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Good work by Nesset as he checks the leg kick.
A jab from Nesset finds it's way through Rojer's defenses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Small throws out a powerful jab.
Davison takes one on the button.
Davison throws a hook to the side of Small's head but Small sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Small throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Davison stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Small lands a nice looking body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Small lands with a right hand.
Davison looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Small is fending him off so far but Davison persists. Nope, Small circles away and we're back to standing.
Davison changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Small tries to avoid it but Davison manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Small to the ground. Small escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Davison gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Small.
Davison moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Small scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Davison doesn't seem bothered though.
Davison is breathing heavily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Davison.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Davison. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Small drops Davison with a huge uppercut! Davison drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Small is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking James Small thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
