The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dog drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Dog decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mote to his feet.
Mote shoots in but Dog avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Mote gets caught napping as Dog dives in and scores a takedown. Mote manages to retain guard.
Mote being controlled here, momentarily.
Dog wants to control from the top but Mote keeps moving.
Mote has a closed guard, preventing Dog from standing up.

and St Edwards counters with a crisp one two that drops Gracie! St Edwards thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Gracie to his feet! Gracie is in big trouble!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie switches off momentarily and St Edwards cracks him with a monster right hand! Gracie topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as St Edwards dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by St Edwards!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wallace St Edwards!
