The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

WIndle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Nikkoms is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Nikkoms defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from WIndle.

WIndle loads up on a big right hand but Nikkoms slips the punch.
Nikkoms fails with a takedown attempt.
Nikkoms displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from WIndle.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Nikkoms enables WIndle to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nikkoms manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Nikkoms quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! WIndle has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Nikkoms celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ishikawa tries to clinch but Nolan is having none of it.

Nolan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ishikawa avoids it really well and circles away.

Mitias closes the distance and clinches up with Connor, looking for a takedown. Mitias pushes Connor against the cage but Connor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bu Laia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ba Lil III (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laia comes to the cage accompanied by Hawaii '78 by Brudda Iz. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lil III loads up on a big right hand but Laia slips the punch.
Laia moves out of range of the body kick.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lil III is not content to let Laia control the position.
Lil III manages to get back to half guard.
Lil III regains full guard. Nicely done.

Lil III has his foot on Laia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Laia works his way back into a safe position though.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Laia.

Bu Laia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ba Lil III.

Lil III is looking to sinch up a triangle. Laia throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lil III's body to avoid the submission. Lil III has instead reached around Laia's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lil III arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ba Lil III! Ba Lil III retains his lightweight title!
