8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vaughn Shaunessey! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaunessey tries a head kick but it misses.
That kick from Shaunessey tenderised Knowles's leg. Knowles is trying to keep his angry face on. Shaunessey moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Shaunessey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Good standup being displayed there by Knowles as he connects with a hook. Shaunessey connects with an inside leg kick. Good leg kick by Shaunessey there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Knowles thuds his right hand into Shaunessey's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Shaunessey does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Shaunessey rushes Knowles and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Shaunessey has Knowles pressed against the ropes.
This has been an exciting period of action! Shaunessey comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Dedric Knowles has been cut. Shaunessey with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Knowles is trying to break the clinch but Shaunessey has him pressed against the ropes. Shaunessey is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Knowles is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaunessey is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Shaunessey manages to break the clinch.

A big right from Knowles misses. Knowles throws a body punch but Shaunessey moves out of range. Knowles throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Shaunessey thows a body kick. Knowles tries to catch it but that hurt him. Knowles walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Shaunessey and drops face first to the floor! Knowles's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Knowles in no position to continue!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Botwin keeps the fight on the outside. Sebastiao tries to clinch but fails miserably and Botwin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sebastiao tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Sebastiao takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Botwin with a body punch. A glancing blow. Sebastiao looks gassed! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Botwin throws a sloppy head kick and Sebastiao moves out of range easily. Botwin lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sebastiao backs up against the ropes.
It looks like Diego Sebastiao has been cut. Botwin knocks out Sebastiao with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Botwin before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Botwin picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Leyton Botwin! Post fight, an emotional Leyton Botwin said 'Stopped drinking for months... Tonight, I´m buying the rounds.'.

Lumberg tries to work over Remmers's front leg with a kick but Remmers checks it. Lumberg sizes up Remmers with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Remmers works over Lumberg's head and body with a nice combination. Remmers avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Lumberg connects with a quick right hand that sends Remmers tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mason throws a sloppy head kick and Hero moves out of range easily. Hero lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mason at a distance.
Sloppy strikes from Mason. Those never looked like landing. Mason moves in looking to clinch but Hero pushes him off. Mason has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mason there as he acknowledges the shot. Mason throws a sloppy head kick and Hero moves out of range easily. Mason stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hero. Hero lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hero connects with a solid leg kick. Mason looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mason is looking to clinch but Hero is avoiding it.
Mason doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Hero has managed to clinch.

Mason is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hero is defending well for now. Hero presses Mason against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Hero lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Mason misses with a knee strike.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mason tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hero avoids it. Hero lands a body punch in the clinch. Mason is breathing heavily. Hero is looking to break free of the clinch but Mason has double underhooks. Mason misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Hero blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Mason with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Mason tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hero avoids it. Hero tries to break free but Mason pushes him back against the ropes. With the fighters up against the ropes, Mason throws an elbow but misses. A nice right hand lands inside from Hero. Hero on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Hero lands with a right to the head. Mason lands an elbow inside that Hero shrugs off. Nice body punch from Hero. Hero manages to break the clinch.

Mason throws a series of punches but Hero avoids them all with ease. Nice body kick there by Hero. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hero lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mason at a distance.
That kick from Hero tenderised Mason's leg. Mason is trying to keep his angry face on. Mason takes a body punch but keeps moving. Hero feints a jab promting Mason to slip. Hero then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mason slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Hero cracks Mason with a good jab. Hero scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Mason to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

It looks like KJ Mason has been cut. Hero moves into range and clinches up with Mason. Hero digs a right hand underneath Mason's ribcage. Mason let out a lung full of air as it connected. Hero breaks from the clinch.
Hero lands with a shot to the body. Hero lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Mason goes down! The ref sends Hero to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Mason is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action! Oh Mason is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! KJ Mason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hero lands a right and a left and another right! Mason goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!

and Zalachenko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Stimpson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zalachenko circles away quickly and effectively. Zalachenko feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Stimpsons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Stimpson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Stimpson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Zalachenko fails in his attempt to clinch. Zalachenko is looking to wear down Stimpson with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Stimpson gets a clinch. Stimpson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Stimpson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Stimpson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Stimpson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stimpson fakes the leg kick and cracks Zalachenko in the body. Zalachenko is breathing heavily. Zalachenko slips a jab and a cross from Stimpson.

Stimpson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Zalachenko moves in looking to clinch but Stimpson pushes him off. Stimpson ducks under a wild hook from Zalachenko. A jab from Stimpson finds it's way through Zalachenko's defenses. Stimpson misses with a hook. Stimpson blocks a low kick nicely. Zalachenko drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A telegraphed right hand from Stimpson misses the target. Stimpson misses with a low kick.
Zalachenko tries to clinch up. Zalachenko lands a nice leg kick that just misses Stimpson's sensitive parts. Zalachenko misses with a head kick.

Zalachenko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stimpson. That did some damage! Good work by Stimpson as he checks the leg kick. Stimpson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Stimpson instigates a clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Zalachenko with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Zalachenko tries to close the distance and clinch but Stimpson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Zalachenko takes a kick to the side of the head. Stimpson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Zalachenko avoids a kick to the body.
Stimpson throws a jab but it's blocked by Zalachenko. Stimpson throws a lazy right hand but Zalachenko sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Zalachenko wants to clinch. Zalachenko looks to clinch and Stimpson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stimpson instigates a clinch. Zalachenko lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Stimpson. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stimpson manages to break the clinch.

Well Stimpson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
