Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wanderlei Silva!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Boyd napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Boyd looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Boyd is looking for a sweep.
The ground and pound from Silva seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Boyd looks to move to half guard but instead Silva has passed into mount! Damn!
Silva misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boyd in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

It looks like Blue Boyd has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Boyd goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Silva!

I think Mcgee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Superman's Worst Nightmare. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mutoh closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mcgee quickly recovers to half guard.

Mutoh wants to work for an arm triangle but Mcgee is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Mcgee is looking for a sweep. Mutoh is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mutoh throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Mcgee trying to control here.
Mcgee is trying to get back to full guard.
Mcgee is refusing to be controlled, as Mutoh sits in half guard.
Mutoh winds up and cracks Mcgee with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Mutoh takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Mcgee tries to kick Mutoh off but Mutoh keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Still in half guard, Mutoh seems content to control.

Raviel Mutoh has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Mutoh looks for a takedown but Mcgee sprawls well.

Mutoh gets the takedown into side control.

Mutoh tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mutoh has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mcgee manages to get back to half guard.
Mutoh looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mcgee tries to get to full guard but Mutoh has control of the leg.
Mcgee is staying active underneath Mutoh, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Mutoh is thwarting Mcgee's attempts to control the position.

Mutoh decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Some bone on bone action there as Mutoh checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Mutoh doesn't manage to clinch there - Mcgee circles away.

Mutoh gets the takedown into side control.
Mutoh laying and praying for a moment but Mcgee takes advantage and regains half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mutoh works his foot free and advances to mount.
Mutoh dominating with strikes here.
Mutoh fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Mutoh tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Mutoh lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Mcgee hang on?

Mcgee is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mcgee gets back to half guard.
Mutoh lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mutoh passes to full mount!
Mcgee tries to hold on but Mutoh pushes him away.
Mutoh connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Mutoh looking to finish Mcgee with some ground and pound. This is bad for Mcgee!
Oh Mcgee is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Oooh a big shot lands for Mutoh! Mcgee is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
