The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brood misses with a wild body shot. Brood blocks a low kick nicely. Trochowzski slips under a jab. Trochowzski lands a body shot.
Trochowzski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Trochowzski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brood throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brood drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Trochowzski lands a big uppercut and Brood crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Brood looks OK. Trochowzski waves Brood back to his feet!
It looks like Caladan Brood has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brood scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Trochowzski is looking for a sweep. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Brood's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brood tries to pull guard but Trochowzski holds him up against the cage and eventually Brood drops back down to his feet.

Caladan Brood's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Trochowzski scores with a shot to the side of Brood's head. Trochowzski lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brood backwards.

Brood is rocked! Brood takes an elbow to the temple. Oh Brood is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jeez, Caladan Brood's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Trochowzski lands a vicious elbow to the side of Brood's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Trochowzski tries to finish him with strikes but Brood still seems able to defend himself so Trochowzski steps back and lets Brood get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Caladan Brood's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut lands for Pe. That snapped Twister's head back.
Twister decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Twister stalling. Twister not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Twister scoring with strikes to the body and head. Twister content to control rather than advance. Twister trying to mount his opponent but Pe defends it. Twister throwing shots but Pe is blocking nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pe blocking the ground and pound attempt from Twister. Twister takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Pe is looking to improve his position.
Pe is staying active underneath Twister, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. TT Twister wasn't doing enough on the ground. Pe moves out of range as Twister strikes.

Nice defenses there by Twister. Pe gets caught napping as Twister dives in and scores a takedown. Pe manages to retain guard. Twister throws a big elbow that misses. Twister loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Twister engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Twister wants to control from the top but Pe keeps moving. Twister advances to half guard. Twister will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Twister is controlling the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Twister. Twister misses with a wild body shot. Twister misses with a straight right. Twister tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pe swivels and escapes. The fighters circle momentarily. Pe darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Pe checks a leg kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Twister ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pe moves away. Twister moves away from the strike by Pe. Pe connects with a good right hand that stumbles Twister. Twister circles away out of range and recomposes himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Twister throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Twister on the wrong end of a nice hook. Pe moves out of range of the strikes. Twister is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pe. Twister shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pe manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Twister loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Twister lands a couple of decent looking shots. Pe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pe looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Twister puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Twister wants to control but Pe is keeping him busy. Twister passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pe! Twister throws some wild stikes that Pe manages to avoid easily.

Twister raining down hammerfists from mount. Twister with a couple of short strikes. Twister postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Pe looks a forlorn figure.
Twister lands a nice shot to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Twister controlling the pace for now. Twister lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Twister connects with a bit shot that sees Pe covering up! More strikes from Twister and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Twister is our winner by TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orlong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kavula paws at him with a jab and circles away. Orlong lands with a cross. Kavula takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Kavula throws a front kick that sends Orlong stumbling back into the cage. A lazy left from Orlong finds it's target. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Orlong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krall lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Barros takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Krall has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Barros. Barros looks to land a body kick but Krall moved away. Barros connects with a leg kick. Krall looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Barros lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Barros turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Barros is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Krall rather than just go for the knockout.
