Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gusandall Ingunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Blessed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ingunn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Darkcore . Blessed has chosen Alive - P.O.D as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Blessed! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blessed connects with the punch. Blessed throws a looping overhand right but Ingunn ducks down to avoid it. Ingunn attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Ingunn fails in his attempt to clinch. Ingunn moves in looking to clinch but Blessed pushes him off. Blessed missing with a left hand there. Ingunn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Ingunn misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ingunn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ingunn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ingunn moves in looking to clinch but Blessed pushes him off. Danga de danga de dang - Blessed scores with a four punch combination! Ingunn wants to clinch. Ingunn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Blessed paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ingunn knows he should have avoided that one. Blessed moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Blessed throws a series of strikes that have Ingunn backpedaling.

Blessed manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ingunn throws a body punch but Blessed moves out of range. Blessed is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blessed lands a glancing blow to the side of Ingunn's head. Ingunn takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Blessed uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Blessed misses with a left hand and Ingunn counters with a takedown into side control. Blessed dodges the ground and pound from Ingunn. The strikes coming from Ingunn are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Blessed holds on to Ingunn's head and controls the position momentarily. Ingunn is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Blessed is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ingunn lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Blessed down.

Brian Blessed showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ingunn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Blessed sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ingunn somewhat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice uppercut there from Blessed.

Ingunn tries to close the distance and clinch but Blessed swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Blessed circles away from the clinch attempt.

Ingunn moves to clinch but Blessed breaks away and Blessed counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ingunn feints a jab promting Blessed to slip. Ingunn then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Blessed slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Gusandall Ingunn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ingunn misses with a takedown attempt - Blessed sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Blessed keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ingunn throws a good cross that connects.

and Ingunn counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blessed keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ingunn prevents Blessed from standing back up.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gusandall Ingunn. I think Blessed has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Juice walks into a stiff left hand from Laurent. Laurent ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Juice moves away. Juice ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A shot to the liver by Laurent. Beautiful body shot. Laurent ducks under a wild hook from Juice. Juice shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Laurent as he avoids it easily. Laurent moves away from the strike by Juice.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Von Matterhorn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Loens moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nice takedown defense from Loens. No joy for Von Matterhorn on that attempt. Loens throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Von Matterhorn counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Loens's guard now. Von Matterhorn advances to half guard. Von Matterhorn stalling. Loens wants to improve his position but Von Matterhorn is controlling well.
Loens is looking to escape. Loens is trying to escape back to his feet but Von Matterhorn uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Loens being controlled for a moment. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Loens tries to improve position but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Von Matterhorn has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Loens is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Von Matterhorn is trying to get an arm triangle but Loens is defending well. Von Matterhorn wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Loens, who protects the arm well. Von Matterhorn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Loens keeps working.

Loens is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Loens looks like he's trying to stand up.

Chance is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Chance is defended easily by Striker. Oh Chance is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Thai Striker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chance scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Chance rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Striker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Chance looks for a takedown but Striker sprawls well. Chance seems to have got his legs back now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for No Chance. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head kick misses from Striker.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Striker. Chance shrugs it off though. Chance is breathing heavily. Striker looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A slapping body kick lands there for Striker. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Chance. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Whack! Striker lands a heavy head kick that drops Chance. The ref tackles Striker to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Chance was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Thai Striker! Thai Striker very nearly forgot to thank Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. and Alverez counters with a left to the body. Sloppy strikes from de Pina. Those never looked like landing. Alverez misses the jab. Alverez slips a straight right by de Pina. Alverez scores with a kick to the midsection. Alverez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Mike Alverez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A lazy left from Alverez finds it's target. de Pina is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lei shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Waters counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Lei doesn't succeed with the takedown and Waters counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lei thinking. Lei has his takedown stuffed and Waters counters with a slapping leg kick. Dwayne Waters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chan Lei. A decent looking cross lands there for Waters. Waters misses with a series of wild punches.

10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pavel Rurikov! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rurikov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lom as he jumps to the side. Rurikov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lom circles away. Lom tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rurikov swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lom clinches up with Rurikov and pushes him back against the cage. Lom trying to land knees to the body.
Rurikov takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Pavel Rurikov has been cut. Lom missing with knees to the body.
Rurikov dodges an elbow strike from Lom.
Rurikov blocks a body shot from Lom. Lom is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rurikov is defending well for now. Lom escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lom thows a body kick. Rurikov tries to catch it but that hurt him. Lom doesn't manage to clinch there - Rurikov circles away.
Lom misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lom tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lom throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rurikov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lom swivels and escapes. Kosti Lom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pavel Rurikov. Rurikov shoots in and drives through. Lom sprawls well. Lom closes the distance and pushes Rurikov back into the cage. Lom prevents the takedown attempt.
Lom lands an elbow just above Rurikov 's eye.
That has opened up Pavel Rurikov's cut even more. Rurikov managing to block the knees to the body from Lom.
Knees in the clinch landing for Lom.
Rurikov tries for a takedown but Lom manages to get underhooks.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Lom lands an elbow just above Rurikov 's eye.
The cut above Pavel Rurikov's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Lom gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Pavel Rurikov's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pavel Rurikov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
