The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice Jr lands with a nice body punch.
The fighters circling - Fenix throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fenix scoring well with a low kick there.
Fenix thumps Slice Jr with a low kick.

Slice Jr dives in and scores a takedown into Fenix's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Slice Jr has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Fenix is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Slice Jr yanks on the arm and Fenix is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Slice Jr.

Kimbo Slice Jr spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Velazquez throws a big shot that misses.
Velazquez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Martin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Martin moves out of range of the strikes.
Velazquez misses with a series of wild punches.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Velazquez comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Martin scores with a punch to the head.
Martin tries for a takedown but Velazquez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Velazquez punishes Martin's body with a nice straight punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Velazquez scores with a hook to the body. Martin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Martin is breathing heavily.
Velazquez throws a shot to the body.
Martin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Velazquez scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Martin. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Velazquez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Martin sprawling to the canvas! Martin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Velazquez finish him?!

It looks like Andrew Martin has been cut.
Martin switches off momentarily and Velazquez cracks him with a monster right hand! Martin topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Velazquez dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Velazquez!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aaron Velazquez!
During a confident post fight interview, Aaron Velazquez thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
