Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murphy Aindreas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Superstar by Lupe Fiasco. Murphy Aindreas told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coleman fails with the takedown. Coleman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Coleman stops Aindreas from standing up. Coleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aindreas swivels though and keeps the full guard. Coleman won't allow Aindreas to get back to his feet. Aindreas wants to sweep here but Coleman controlling him for the moment. Aindreas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Aindreas keeping full guard, as Coleman tries to pass.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Coleman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Coleman swats away the attempt to clinch by Aindreas. Aindreas misses with an attempted mid kick.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li comes to the cage accompanied by Summer Song. Silva comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 'Be Myself' by Charlie Brown Jr. kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Diego Silva struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Diego Silva! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Silva is trying to control the position but Li postures up. Li wants to stand but Silva is controlling his posture from full guard. Li controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Li wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving. Silva looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Li forces his way into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva looks gassed! Li seems to be working for a kimura but Silva defends the submission attempt. Li is taking a breather. Silva says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva blocking the ground and pound attempt from Li. Silva avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Li. Li works his way into side control. Silva regains half guard. Li is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Silva slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Silva looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Li has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Li in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Li trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Li wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Silva avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Silva tries to land a sweep but no joy. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Truck's guard. Pace postures up in Truck's guard and throws a big left but Truck blocks it. Pace lands a couple of elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pace preventing the sweep. Truck keeping full guard, as Pace tries to pass. Truck throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mark Pace will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

He's hooked one of Pace's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pace's back!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz fails to land the takedown. Cruz throws a right and a left that both miss. Cruz lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Cougar avoids a kick to the body.
Cougar closes the distance and clinches. Cougar scores with a hook to the body. Cruz has had enough of the clinch but Cougar keeps him there for the moment. Cougar misses with a punch to the body.

Cruz tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Cougar cranks the arm and Cruz screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Cruz, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

UR Subbed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Subbed cracks the inside of Otway's front leg. Subbed throws a nice looking combination but Otway bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Otway takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Left hook, right uppercut from Subbed. Subbed misses with a double jab.
Subbed throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Subbed swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Otway shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Otway really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Subbed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Otway is nestled in close to Subbed, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Otway is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Subbed is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Otway is tapping! Great win for Subbed!

Shiraishi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Magilla scoring with punches and elbows. Magilla working away. Magilla looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Magilla goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Shiraishi rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Magilla's guard! Nice work there by Shiraishi! Magilla tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teach goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Teach looks to land a combination but Torres avoids it well. Torres doesn't manage to clinch there - Teach circles away.
Torres's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Torres duly obliges.
It looks like Emond Teach has been cut. Teach closes the distance and clinches. Torres successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Teach postures up and lands a big shot to Torres's brow. Teach wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving. Torres manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Teach manages to get himself to full guard.

Torres misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Sblia goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Sblia looks to land a combination but Dude avoids it well. Dude dodges the punch combination from Sblia.
Sblia thuds his right hand into Dude's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Sblia lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sblia. Sblia misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
