And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Coffey!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coffey misses with a wild body shot.
Coffey avoids the head kick by Sass.
Sass gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Coffey.
It looks like King Sass has been cut.
Coffey swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Coffey scores with a shot to the body.
Coffey lands a big head kick that sends Sass tumbling to the mat! Coffey takes a step backwards and waves Sass back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sass is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sass takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Sass is breathing heavily.
Coffey swinging wildly here.
Sass wants to clinch up but Coffey keeps it at a distance.
Coffey fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sass drops his hands momentarily. Coffey doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Sass staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Sass doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Coffey!
In his post fight interview, John Coffey started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Chan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sisko.
Chan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sisko looks to score with a jab to the body but Chan is just out of range.

Chan throws a lazy body kick
and Sisko counters with a right hand to the body.
Sisko throws a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sisko misses with an attempted mid kick.
Sisko lands a nice shot to the body.
Chan is breathing heavily.
Sisko connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Sisko uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chan.
Sisko digs a good hook to Chan's body.
Sisko bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Chan blocks a head kick by Sisko.
Chan blocks the body kick.
Sisko looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Sisko throws a push kick but Chan slaps the foot to one side.
Sisko is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Chan rather than just go for the knockout.
Chan has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sisko.
Chan blocks a head kick by Sisko.

Sisko looks to land a body kick but Chan moved away.
Sisko misses with a head kick.
Sisko fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Chan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sisko and Chan are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Sisko throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Chan into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Sisko knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). The Sisko!
After winning the bout, The Sisko thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Testies throws a push kick but Redz slaps the foot to one side.
Redz looks to land a right hand but Testies moved out of range.
Testies scores with a leg kick.
Testies pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rock Testies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Redz throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Testies misses with a hook.
Testies thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Redz if he has to take too many more of those.

It looks like Franky Redz has been cut.
Testies throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Redz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Testies misses with a head kick.
Testies throws a low kick, looking for Redz's leg but Redz calmly moves out of range.
Testies lands a nice looking body kick.
Redz has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Testies.
Redz needs to keep his hands up - Testies had a free shot at his head there.
That has opened up Franky Redz's cut even more.
Testies throws a push kick but Redz slaps the foot to one side.

Good leg kick by Testies there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Redz tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Redz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Testies to score with a decent uppercut.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Franky Redz's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
