Goto fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Quintana. Goto takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Yoshiteru Goto showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pinochet keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Pinochet lands a jab to Ismail's midsection. Ismail with a poor takedown and Pinochet makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Pinochet jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Panzram looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Panzram turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Riley throws a chopping leg kick but Panzram manages to avoid taking any serious damage. A slow jab from Riley misses its intended target. Panzram connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Riley lands with a cross.
It looks like Carl Panzram has been cut. Riley tests Panzram's chin there with a solid looking shot. Panzram shoots in and drives through. Riley sprawls well. Panzram uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Riley. Nice uppercut lands for Riley. That snapped Panzram's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Panzram takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Riley avoids the body shot from Panzram.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Ortiz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dudek lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ortiz's sensitive parts. Ortiz lands a nice hook to Dudek's body. Dudek takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. SergiO Ortiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dudek avoids a kick to the body.
Dudek wants to slow Ortiz down by chopping away at his legs. Dudek pushes Ortiz up against the cage in a clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Dudek. Dudek softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Dudek goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Still in the clinch, Dudek scores with a nice short uppercut. A short left from Dudek. Ortiz tries for a takedown but Dudek manages to get underhooks.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Dudek is pulling down on Ortiz's head. It's preventing any offense from Ortiz, at least for the moment. Dudek's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Dudek keeping moving, preventing Ortiz from controlling successfully. Dudek is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jan Dudek hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. A low kick from Ortiz misses letting Dudek counter with a right hand.

Dudek is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ortiz is working for an americana but Dudek has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Ortiz was thinking about the submission. Ortiz lands a couple of elbows.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ortiz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ortiz postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Ortiz looking to pass the guard. Dudek is trying to keep Ortiz in close.
Ortiz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dudek swivels though and keeps the full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ortiz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that SergiO Ortiz will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ortiz fails with a takedown attempt. Ortiz ducks under a wild hook from Dudek. Ortiz lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Good exchange - Ortiz coming out on top. Ortiz sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Dudek goes for a high kick. It partially lands. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dudek stalks Ortiz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ortiz's face. Ortiz staggers backwards, shaken. Nice jab there from Dudek. Dudek scores with a body shot.
Dudek drops Ortiz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ortiz looks back up at him and smiles so Dudek waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dudek waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ortiz. Oh Ortiz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ortiz moves forwards but Dudek connects with a nice, crisp jab. Dudek scores with a nice head shot. Ortiz throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dudek makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Good shot there by Dudek. Dudek cracks Ortiz with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ortiz tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Dudek pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ortiz is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

A very excited looking Jan Dudek made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet.
