0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nir Sosa! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Denton thows a body shot but no joy. Denton tries to clinch there but Sosa circles away.
Denton misses with a low kick.
Sosa misses with a wild body shot. Sosa steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Denton. A looping hook to the body misses from Sosa. Denton does a little dance to reset his feet. Denton tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sosa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sosa misses with a looping right. Denton doesn't manage to clinch there - Sosa circles away.
Sosa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Denton gets a clinch. Sosa jumps guard and drags Denton to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Sosa looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sosa keeping full guard, as Denton tries to pass. Sosa is trying to keep Denton in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sosa is looking to sinch up a triangle. Denton throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sosa's body to avoid the submission. Sosa has instead reached around Denton's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sosa arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Griffin! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kersikov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kersikov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sloppy strikes from Griffin. Those never looked like landing. Kersikov stuffs the takedown attempt from Griffin. Griffin gets slowly back to his feet. Kersikov with a hook. Kersikov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A lazy left from Kersikov finds it's target.
It looks like Kyle Griffin has been cut. Kersikov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Griffin takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crunch! Kersikov slams his shin into Griffin's torso. Griffin looks gassed! Griffin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kersikov, pushing him back against the cage. Kersikov lands with a short shot to the head. Kersikov gets through Griffin's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Kersikov manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kersikov with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kersikov moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A jab from Kersikov finds it's way through Griffin's defenses. Kersikov lands a front kick. Griffin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crunch! Kersikov slams his shin into Griffin's torso. Kersikov connects with an inside leg kick. Griffin blocks a head kick by Kersikov.
Griffin shoots and misses and Kersikov makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Griffin really felt that one! Vitali Kersikov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Griffin. Griffin fails to land the takedown. A jab from Kersikov finds it's way through Griffin's defenses. Kersikov lands with a thumping leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kersikov throws a nice outside leg kick. A jab lands there for Kersikov.
Griffin is rocked! Kersikov lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saarinen tries for a takedown but Warren circles away easily and Warren counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Saarinen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Warren seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Warren pushing down on Saarinen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Warren passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Saarinen! Saarinen really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warren takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Warren jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Saarinen manages to avoid the submission attempt. Warren working the ground and pound. Warren working the ground and pound. That's two minutes gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Saarinen enables Warren to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Saarinen manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Warren slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Warren scoring with punches and elbows. Warren cracks Saarinen with a big right hand but Saarinen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Warren with shots to the head and body - Saarinen looks very uncomfortable down there. Saarinen is trying to reverse the position but instead Warren has taken his back - oops! Warren is riding his opponent, not letting Saarinen buck him off.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Saarinen is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Sanchez throws a series of punches but McRaylen moves out of range. Sanchez works McRaylen's body with a nice hook. McRaylen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Sanchez lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sanchez lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. McRaylen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Sanchez swats away the attempt to clinch by McRaylen. Sanchez swinging wildly here.

McRaylen shoots in looking for a takedown but Sanchez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McRaylen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
