Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Reefer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Oliveira might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to One Republic - All The Right Moves. Rodrigo Reefer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reefer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oliveira swats him away and circles back towards the center. Oliveira ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Reefer moves away. Reefer just misses with a punch to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tucker tries to sprawl but Mustafin drives through with a takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Mustafin wants to pass the guard but Tucker is defending well. Tucker preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Mustafin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tucker knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mustafin has eaten all the pies! Tucker trying to control here.
Mustafin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Tucker wants to get back to full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mustafin's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mustafin duly obliges.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hobbs is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Akebono's half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Akebono looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Hobbs is keen to just control but Akebono is a slippery customer. Hobbs passes to side control. Akebono is not content to let Hobbs control the position. Hobbs has hold of Akebono's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Akebono seems comfortable defending it but Hobbs has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Akebono is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Akebono is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hobbs couldn't care less - he's delighted!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King scoring with strikes to the body and head. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Black. Bulb does a little dance to reset his feet. Bulb leaves Black with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Black looks to land a combination but Bulb avoids it well. Black walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Black takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Black lands with a nice combination. Bulb backs away looking to recover. Bulb connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Bulb fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Bulb lands a right hook to the body.

Black has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Bulb changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Black might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Bulb has got the better of the exchanges. Bulb connects with a body shot that sends Black's belly button to the back. Bulb dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Black. That did some damage! Bulb displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Black is rocked! Bulb connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Black to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Bulb!

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rashad Evans! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aroman shoots in for a takedown but Evans shows good takedown defense. Aroman throws a head kick but Evans moves out of range.
Evans fails with an attempt to clinch.
Evans misses with a body shot.
Aroman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Evans is looking to clinch but Aroman is avoiding it.
Aroman on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Azazle Aroman has been cut. Evans swinging wildly here.
Evans throws a shot from downtown. Aroman moves away and avoids it. Evans looks to land a body kick but Aroman moved away. Aroman with a body punch. A glancing blow. Evans lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aroman circles away quickly and effectively. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A solid leg kick lands there for Evans.
Aroman has his takedown stuffed and Aroman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Aroman is breathing heavily. Evans looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aroman throws a nice looking combination but Evans bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Evans scores with a jab to the head.
Evans connects with the punch.
Aroman is rocked! Evans drops Aroman with a huge uppercut! Aroman drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Evans is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
