Talentti's entrance music is Metallica - Ecstasy Of Gold. A fine choice. Carlos Martinez struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Talentti keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Martinez bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Talentti sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Martinez will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Talentti shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Martinez defends it nicely. Martinez thuds his shin into the meat of Talentti's side. Martinez stuffs the takedown attempt from Talentti. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bull shoots in for a double leg but Lancer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lancer just misses with a punch to the body.
Lancer scores with the left hand. Bull knows he should have avoided that one. Lancer throws a hook but Bull blocks it. Bull shoots in looking for a takedown but Lancer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bull's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Bull is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Lancer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bull tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lancer paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nice body punch from Lancer. Bull blocks a jab. Lancer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bull circles away quickly and effectively. A combination from Lancer does no damage. Bull doesn't manage to clinch there - Lancer circles away.
Lancer lands with a cross. Lancer paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A punch combination from Lancer misses. Lancer misses with a low kick as Bull jumps back. Lancer tries a low kick but Bull avoids it. Lancer tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bull is able to avoid easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lancer throws a head kick but Bull moves out of range.

Lancer looks to score with a jab to the body but Bull is just out of range. Lancer thows a leg kick but Bull checks it and Bull counters with a single leg into guard. Lancer didn't expect that. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Bull stays in close to Lancer's body and controls the position. Lancer wants to stand and escape but Bull is having none of it. Bull pushing down on Lancer's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Bull is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Lancer is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Plasto paws at him with a jab and circles away. James shoots in for a takedown but Plasto shows good takedown defense. No luck for James with that takedown attempt. Plasto takes the fight into the clinch. James has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Plasto after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jessie James. That's going to take a lot out of him. Plasto has James pressed against the cage, preventing James from circling away and getting back to striking at range. James is trying to break free. Plasto keeps the fight in the clinch, despite James's efforts to push away. Plasto utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Plasto prevents a takedown attempt there.
James swings wildly with an uppercut but Plasto uses good head movement to avoid it. James is trying to drag Plasto to the mat but Plasto just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Plasto has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics James uses from the top position. James trying to control the position from guard on top but Plasto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

James throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Plasto works some decent striking defense from the bottom. James trying to control but Plasto is working from the bottom. Plasto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with James. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jessie James. Nice takedown defense from Plasto. No joy for James on that attempt. Plasto is looking to clinch. James will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. James swats away the attempt to clinch by Plasto. The fight stays on the outside here - James looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

He's pushed Plasto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jessie James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mamadou Plasto. Plasto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Plasto! James controlling the pace for now. James has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. James is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Plasto to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Plasto shrugs it off. James looking to control but Plasto is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! James is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Plasto is surviving well by controlling James's body position as best he can. James is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Plasto can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Plasto is holding on tight.

That's three minutes gone in the round. James quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for James but it's paid off an Plasto is forced to tap! Nice work by James.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis lunges at Edgardo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Edgardo's hand. Francisco Edgardo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lewis listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Edgardo lands an overhand right. Edgardo moves in looking to clinch but Lewis pushes him off. Lewis throws a low kick, looking for Edgardo's leg but Edgardo calmly moves out of range. Edgardo closes the distance and clinches up with Lewis, looking for a takedown. Edgardo pushes Lewis against the cage but Lewis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lewis on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Edgardo. Edgardo obviously looking to wear him down.

That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. This has been an exciting period of action! Lewis scores with a nice head shot. Edgardo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lewis but Lewis pushes him off and we're back to square one. Lewis getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Lewis cracks Edgardo with a nice body shot. Edgardo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lewis pulls him back up using the underhooks. Lewis has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Edgardo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Lewis blocks an uppercut.
Nice body punch from Lewis. Edgardo swings wildly with an uppercut but Lewis uses good head movement to avoid it. Lewis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lewis throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lewis lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Nice cross by Lewis. Lewis lands with a hook. Edgardo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Lewis scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Lewis dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Edgardo is rocked! Lewis lands a right hook to the body.
Edgardo closes the distance but Lewis moves to the side and Lewis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Oh Edgardo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Edgardo gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Lewis gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Guevara knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mankiev on the ground. Mankiev manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Guevara manages to get himself to full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pikkarainen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Todorov sees it coming and avoids it easily. Todorov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Nice defenses there by Todorov. A big right from Todorov misses. Pikkarainen misses with a looping right. Pikkarainen connects with a body shot that sends Todorov's belly button to the back. Todorov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pikkarainen.
