The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Micun shows good takedown defense.
Micun takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Gracie thows a body shot but no joy.
Micun leaves Gracie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Micun tries to clinch but Gracie moves out of range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Trinity enables Bennett to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Trinity manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Ferreira got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gonzaga has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ferreira has managed to get both his arms back between Gonzaga's legs - danger averted.

Hyuuku lands a two punch combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hyuuku gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Man counters with a right hand to the body.
Hyuuku ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Man moves away.
Man connects with a body shot.
Hyuuku misses with a takedown
and Man counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ice Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shinigami Hyuuku.

Hyuuku walks straight into a right hand from Man - that's dropped him! Man jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Hyuuku from any more punishment! Hyuuku complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A relieved looking Ice Man thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
