The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pete misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The Beast fails with an attempt to clinch.

Pete closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. The Beast did well to prevent Pete getting side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rose lands a left and a right that send Mick crashing to the mat, dazed. Rose thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
