Shamrock is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The World most Dangerous Man. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Shamrock!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bad tries to clinch but Shamrock moves away

and Shamrock counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bad won't be happy with that.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Shamrock happy to just control the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shamrock tries to advance to mount but Bad instead regains half guard.
Shamrock not doing much here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ken Shamrock was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Shamrock keeps the fight on the outside.
Bad wants to clinch

and Shamrock counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bad!
Bad avoids a series of strikes thrown by Shamrock.
Bad knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shamrock on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shamrock wants to control from the top but Bad keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Shamrock won't allow Bad to get back to his feet.

Shamrock landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Shamrock is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bad doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shamrock.
Bad is staying active underneath Shamrock, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Shamrock is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Shamrock stops Bad from getting back to his feet.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

and Shamrock counters by moving into the clinch.
Shamrock blocks an elbow strike.
Bad tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Shamrock avoids it.

Shamrock breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Shamrock tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bad sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shamrock somewhat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bad keeping moving, preventing Shamrock from controlling successfully.
Shamrock sitting in guard, not really doing much.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Shamrock darts in and clinches Bad up against the cage.

Bad unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Bad prevents Shamrock from breaking the clinch.

Bad pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Shamrock effectively controlling the action here.
Shamrock receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Shamrock wants to control but Bad passes easily into half guard.

Shamrock kicks Bad off and gets back to his feet.

Bad defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Shamrock.
Bad tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Shamrock moves into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shamrock takes an elbow to the temple.
Bad is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Shamrock is keeping busy.
Bad unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Bad misses with a knee strike.
Bad stops a takedown attempt from Shamrock.
Big Bad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Shamrock.

Shamrock pulls Bad into guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bad would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Bad will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Shamrock is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bad defends well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ken Shamrock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!


Bad closes the distance but Shamrock moves to the side

and Shamrock counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Shamrock.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ken Shamrock hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bad is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Shamrock has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Shamrock closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bad circles away.

Bad wants to get up but he can't break Shamrock's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Shamrock has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bad can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bad wants to stand but Shamrock has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Shamrock throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Bad wants to stand and escape but instead Shamrock has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Bad is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Shamrock gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bad keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Shamrock.

Shamrock closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bad to the mat! Bad manages to get full guard.
Shamrock pushes down on Bad's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Shamrock passes the guard and advances to mount!

Shamrock throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Bad has his hands clasped together but Shamrock breaks the hold and Bad is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Shamrock!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ken Shamrock!
Ken Shamrock was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers thuds his shin into the meat of Maia's side.
Maia misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Maia takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Rogers lands a leg kick that knocks Maia off balance momentarily.
Nice cross by Rogers.
Maia takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Maia on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rogers. Rogers obviously looking to wear him down.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maia steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Rogers. That one must have hurt.
Good leg kick by Rogers there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Rogers dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Maia. That did some damage!

and Rogers counters with a straight right hand.
Maia looks gassed!

and Rogers counters with a good low kick that Maia was not able to check.
Steve Rogers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dominickoy Maia.

Steve Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Maia on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rogers. Rogers obviously looking to wear him down.
A head kick from Rogers lands but Maia takes it in his stride.

It looks like Dominickoy Maia has been cut.
Maia with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rogers to score with a decent uppercut.
Rogers circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Maia drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Rogers follows Maia to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
