Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enoch Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryan comes to the ring accompanied by Flight of the Valkyries. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Enoch Thompson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Thompson if he has to take too many more of those.

Thompson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bryan looking for a sweep. Not yet Bryan, not yet.
Thompson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Thompson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bryan is proving hard to escape from.
Thompson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Smashley counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Smashley working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gracie's head.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Smashley is in close to Gracie's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Gracie is looking for a triangle but Smashley pushes his legs off easily.

Smashley is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gracie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Smashley is looking to defend but Gracie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Smashley! Gracie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Smashley taps out and this one is all over!

Voll dips to his left and cracks Zappa with an uppercut!

Oh but Zappa is tightening it up a little... Voll has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Voll reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Voll taps out! Nice BJJ there by Zappa!
