Ramirez tightens his grip and picks Hoivunen up, before dumping him to the ground. Hoivunen manages to land in guard.

Hoivunen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ramirez drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ramirez seems to have locked his on tight now - Hoivunen screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ramirez, as he picks up the win!

Hickman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hickman is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Pearce defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Poppy has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sword should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Poppy has tightened it up now! Sword should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
