The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Culpado tries to clinch but DaCola moves out of range. DaCola is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Culpado's half guard. DaCola stands up and beckons Culpado to join him on the feet. DaCola throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Culpado's head. DaCola lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Culpado circles away quickly and effectively. DaCola shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Culpado is trying to defend but DaCola finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Culpado makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Culpado. Culpado looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

DaCola lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Culpado backs up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action! Culpado darts in and clinches DaCola up against the cage. Culpado breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Culpado tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. DaCola manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Culpado shoots in for a takedown but DaCola shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. DaCola is trying hard to land a takedown here. Culpado sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Culpado throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
DaCola shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Culpado's guard. DaCola is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Culpado is just riding it out for now. DaCola eventually gives up the hold.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lola DaCola! In his post fight interview, Lola DaCola started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jeff Parker was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jass. Jass throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Parker jabbing away but nothing is landing. Parker lands with a right hand. Parker's corner calls for a 1-2. Parker obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Jass throws a sloppy head kick and Parker moves out of range easily. Parker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jass looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Parker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Hugh Jass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parker misses with a straight right. Jass rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Parker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Parker showed some decent athleticism there. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Parker seems to be working for a kimura but Jass defends the submission attempt.

Jass knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parker on the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Parker looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Parker is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jass has escaped the position, nice work there. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Parker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Parker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jass is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Parker is controlling him well. Jass trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Parker tries for a kimura but Jass is defending well.

Parker thows a body shot but no joy. Hugh Jass is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jass moves out of range of the strikes. Jass pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parker passes Jass's left leg - he's now in half guard. Parker seems to be working for a kimura but Jass defends the submission attempt. Hugh Jass has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jass is refusing to be controlled, as Parker sits in half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jass wants to get back to his feet. Jeff Parker is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Parker tries to pass to full mount but Jass defends it.
And that's the end of the fight! Jeff Parker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Parker winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Rassi wants to clinch. Axxe takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. The fighters circling - Axxe throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rassi misses with a few strikes there.

Rassi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Axxe blocks it with crossed arms. The referee is keeping an eye on Rassi - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Thor Axxe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nice shot by Rassi. Axxe throws a right and a left that Rassi avoids nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rassi throws a sloppy head kick and Axxe moves out of range easily. Rassi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Axxe steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Rassi. That one must have hurt. Axxe throws a nice looking combination but Rassi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Samuraimo Rassi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rassi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
