Gerrard might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Allen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gerrard was well out of range. Poor timing from Allen.
Gerrard pounces like a tiger and cracks Allen with a vicious hook! Allen is down but not out! Gerrard follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
