Davis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Snoop DoGG. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Davis checks a leg kick.
Grant leaves Davis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Grant rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Davis counters with a left to the body.
Davis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Grant sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Davis somewhat.
Grant chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Grant takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Grant looks to land a combination but Davis avoids it well.
Horrible takedown by Davis or perhaps it was just good defense by Grant which made him look bad.
