The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuning tries to bum rush Tavares with a series of wild strikes but Tavares uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sloppy strikes from Tuning. Those never looked like landing.

Tuning connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Tuning swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tuning scores with a jab. Tavares acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tuning cracks Tavares with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Fernado Tavares has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tuning connects with a single shot there.
Tavares shoots for a takedown but Tuning saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Lomonosow falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Dunn smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Marko is trying to push Overdose away but Overdose has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Overdose goes for a takedown attempt but Marko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Overdose drops down looking for an ankle pick but Marko pulls his leg out and moves away.
Cain Marko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alistair Overdose.

Alistair Overdose has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Overdose does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cain Marko.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Marko, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
