Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, tj Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damien Stewart! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stewart scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Miller tries to close the distance and clinch but Stewart swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Miller takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Stewart's jab looks to have found its range, popping Miller under the eye. Stewart scores with the left hand. Miller knows he should have avoided that one. Stewart lands with a good body shot.
Miller rushes Stewart and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Miller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Miller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stewart gets tackled into the cage by Miller. Miller maintains the clinch. Stewart has had enough of the clinch but Miller keeps him there for the moment.
Miller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Stewart jabs Miller to the body, keeping him at a distance. Stewart is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Miller takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Miller moves in looking to clinch but Stewart pushes him off. Stewart ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Stewart punishes Miller's body with a nice straight punch.

Miller drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stewart pulls his leg out and moves away.
Stewart feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Millers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Stewart lands a slapping body shot.

Miller lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Stewart scores with a jab. Miller shoots in and drives through. Stewart sprawls well. Miller shoots for a takedown but Stewart saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for tj Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stewart moves into range and connects with a jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stewart lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Miller circles away quickly and effectively. Stewart throws a nice looking combination but Miller bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stewart scores with a one two! Miller had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Stewart lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Miller takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Stewart lands with a shot to the body. Miller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stewart gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Miller to score an easy takedown into full guard. Miller loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stewart is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stewart digs a good body shot into Miller's ribs. Stewart connects with a single shot there. Miller looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. Stewart leaves Miller with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Stewart lands a jab-cross combination. Miller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for tj Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Miller shoots in looking for a takedown but Stewart manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Miller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Stewart. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Miller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stewart but Stewart pushes him off and we're back to square one. tj Miller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stewart misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Miller wants to take the fight to the mat but Stewart manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Stewart is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Stewart wants to break free but Miller has control.
Stewart looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Stewart blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stewart tries to break the clinch but Miller is controlling the position. Miller drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
tj Miller has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Damien Stewart is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stewart looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lee Chao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patryk Szczerbiec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chao comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica-The Unforgiven. Patryk Szczerbiec struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chao with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Szczerbiec to score with a decent uppercut. Chao changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Szczerbiec tries to avoid it but Chao manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Szczerbiec to the ground. Szczerbiec escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chao looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Szczerbiec is fending him off so far but Chao persists. Nope, Szczerbiec circles away and we're back to standing. Chao takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Chao dives in and grabs Szczerbiec's left leg, looking for a takedown. Szczerbiec pushes down on Chao's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lee Chao. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice sprawl there from Szczerbiec as Chao shoots in. Szczerbiec throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chao moves into the clinch. Chao wants to take the fight to the mat but Szczerbiec manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. The referee calls for Chao to work.

Chao gets control of Szczerbiec's arms and successfully pulls guard. Chao will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Szczerbiec working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Chao avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Szczerbiec throws a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chao not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Chao working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Szczerbiec doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Szczerbiec manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Chao has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Szczerbiec looks to score with a jab to the body but Chao is just out of range. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Chao here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Chao shoots for a double leg takedown but Szczerbiec sprawls well. He's pushed Chao's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Szczerbiec lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Patryk Szczerbiec seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A decent looking cross lands there for Szczerbiec. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Szczerbiec is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Szczerbiec is pushing Chao's head away, looking to escape. Chao manages to hold on to the position though. Vieira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A good leg kick by Vieira. Bob avoids a punch combination nicely.

Nasri has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Rizal.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fedorov shoots in looking for a takedown but Nasri manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fedorov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Nasri feints a jab promting Fedorov to slip. Nasri then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fedorov slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Fedorov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fedorov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Fedorov fails with the takedown enabling Nasri to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Fedorov. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fighters circle momentarily. Nasri darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Fedorov with a poor takedown and Nasri counters with a left and a right that stings Fedorov. This has been an exciting period of action! Nasri lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fedorov circles away quickly and effectively. Fedorov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nasri as he avoids it easily. Nasri ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Fedorov is breathing heavily. Nasri scores with a jab to the head.

Fedorov has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Nasri. Oh but Fedorov has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Nasri goes limp - he's gone! Fedorov jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
