These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Towinit shoots in and drives through. Koskinen sprawls well. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Towinit is defended easily by Koskinen. Towinit scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Koskinen trying to control from the bottom.
Towinit looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Koskinen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Towinit's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Towinit's back! The referee is taking a good look at Towinit as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Koskinen!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koskinen scores with punches from the back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Towinit is trying to break free.
Towinit is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Koskinen gets his way!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Koskinen tries to hold on but Towinit postures up. Towinit trying to control but Koskinen is having none of it. Koskinen is looking to get to half guard. Towinit trying to control but he's not successful this time.

We're going to have a standup here because Init Towinit wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Koskinen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Towinit. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Init Towinit. That's going to take a lot out of him. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Koskinen lands with an uppercut that bounces Towinit off the cage and back into range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Init Towinit will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Koskinen gets caught flat footed, as Towinit shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Koskinen has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Towinit doesn't defend quickly enough and Koskinen has managed to lock this one up! Can Towinit escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Koskinen on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kanki jabs Rath to the body, keeping him at a distance. Rath keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rath pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Rath tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kanki is able to avoid easily. Kanki misses with the combination.
Kanki checks a leg kick. Kanki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rath moves away. Kanki throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kanki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rath paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kanki just misses with a punch to the body.
Kanki misses with a double jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rath.
Rath takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kanki works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kanki misses with a straight left. Kanki tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rath manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kanki misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rath.
Rath tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kanki is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rath rather than just go for the knockout. A jab from Kanki misses. Kanki cracks Rath with an open hand slap. Rath shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Rath seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kanki does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rath passes to full mount! Rath controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rath with a couple of short strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rath landing strikes, looking to finish! Kanki looks gassed! Rath lands a nice shot to the head. Rath looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Rath pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Rath postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kanki looks a forlorn figure.
Kanki is rocked! Rath punishing his opponent with strikes. Kanki is still in real trouble! Can Rath finish him? Kanki is bucking up trying to escape but Rath cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Rath has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rath is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kanki can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Rath loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Kanki scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Rath land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Rath stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Rath! A very excited looking Robert Rath made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Scott enables FernandoSilva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Scott manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. FernandoSilva tries to free his leg and advance position but Scott is retaining full guard. FernandoSilva stopping the sweep attempt from Scott. FernandoSilva sitting in guard here, content to control. FernandoSilva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and FernandoSilva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with FernandoSilva. That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for FernandoSilva!

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Yauch dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jennings misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Yauch throws a lazy right hand but Jennings sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Jennings defending well as Yauch loads up on a big left hand. Yauch misses with a hook. Jennings ducked under it nicely. Jennings shoots in for a double leg but Yauch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Yauch cracks Jennings with a right hand to the side of the head. Jennings takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. A looping hook to the body misses from Yauch. Jennings does a little dance to reset his feet. Jennings misses with a wild body shot. Yauch misses with a straight right. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yauch catches Jennings with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Jennings staying out of range there. Yauch jabs Jennings to the body, keeping him at a distance.

and Yauch takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Yauch is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Yauch lands with a shot to the body. Yauch stuffs the takedown attempt from Jennings. Jennings gets slowly back to his feet. Adam Yauch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Weston Jennings. Jennings uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yauch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jennings tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yauch swivels and escapes. A big left from Yauch misses. Yauch misses the jab. Adam Yauch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yauch misses with a looping left. Yauch throws a jab when Jennings was well out of range. Yauch utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Yauch holds on and takes a little breather.

Adam Yauch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Yauch connects with the punch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yauch throws a jab but it's blocked by Jennings.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yauch throws the left hand but Jennings avoids the punch easily. Jennings slips under a jab from Yauch. Yauch swings for the body but Jennings moves out of range.
Yauch throws a looping overhand right but Jennings ducks down to avoid it. Jennings defending well as Yauch loads up on a big left hand. Jennings walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice cross by Yauch. Yauch connects with a body shot. Jab from Yauch. Danga de danga de dang - Yauch scores with a four punch combination! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jennings slips a jab from Yauch.
And that's the end of the fight! Adam Yauch showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Yauch, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Barksdale, into his guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mison postures up.
