Silva has chosen FUSE ODG FT TIFFANY AZONTO as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Uiro Silva! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paiskbah closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Silva did well to prevent Paiskbah getting side control. Silva looks gassed! Paiskbah seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paiskbah seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Silva for as long as he can get away with.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Thiagulu Paiskbah. Silva takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Paiskbah shoots in and gets a takedown into Silva's guard. Paiskbah chips away with some ground and pound. Paiskbah slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Paiskbah remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Silva takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gomes lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
 It looks like Emerson Kinho has been cut. Kinho tries to clinch but fails miserably and Gomes counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kinho is lucky that one didn't land flush. An inside leg kick from Kinho misses. Gomes tries a head kick but it misses.
Gomes looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gomes throws a sloppy head kick and Kinho moves out of range easily. Kinho tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gomes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kinho throws the left hand but Gomes avoids the punch easily. Kinho closes the distance but Gomes moves to the side and Gomes counters with a body kick.
Kinho clinches up against the cage. Kinho jumps guard but Gomes turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kinho has a couple of punches blocked by Gomes.

Kinho lands with a light punch inside. Gomes looks to throw an elbow but misses. Come on Gomes - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Kinho tries to throw a body punch but Gomes avoids it by throwing Kinho back against the cage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kinho wants to take the fight to the mat but Gomes manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kinho letting Gomes take a breather here. Kinho misses with the head strike.
Kinho throws a head punch that misses. Gomes looking to slow down the pace here. Kinho makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Kinho tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gomes just stands there and leans against the cage. Arthur Gomes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emerson Kinho. Kinho wants a takedown but no success here.
Gomes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kinho chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gomes can pounce on him.
Emerson Kinho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kinho closes the distance looking to clinch and Gomes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Arthur Gomes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Gomes scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Gomes fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Gomes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Gomes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gomes wants it to stay on the feet. Kinho tries to clinch up and Gomes counters with an outside leg kick.
Kinho looks gassed! The fight stays on the outside here - Kinho looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kinho just misses with a punch to the body.

 That has opened up Emerson Kinho's cut even more. Kinho wants to clinch and Gomes counters with a good low kick that Kinho was not able to check. Kinho tries to clinch and Gomes counters with a big head kick but Kinho shrugs it off. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kinho tries to clinch but Gomes is having none of it.
Kinho shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gomes's guard. Kinho wants to control from the top but Gomes keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gomes wants to sweep but no luck.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Gomes keeping moving, preventing Kinho from controlling successfully.
Kinho postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gomes is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kinho, into his guard. Kinho is controlling Gomes's posture. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

 The cut above Emerson Kinho's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Emerson Kinho is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kinho tries to clinch up. Kinho wants to clinch. Kinho fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gomes avoids it really well and circles away. Gomes swats away the attempt to clinch by Kinho. Kinho fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kinho tries to clinch up and Gomes counters with a thumping low kick.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Gomes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

 Emerson Kinho's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pais closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Pais happy to just control the position for now. Pais sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gracie is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Pais's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Pais should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
 Crixus Pais has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Gracie walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pais checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Pais scores with a nice head shot. Pais wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Pais looks for a takedown but Gracie sprawls well. Pais shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gracie pinned against the cage. Gracie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Pais scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Gracie thows a body shot but no joy. A jab from Pais misses. Pais lands a jab to the head.
 It looks like Rodrigo Gracie has been cut. Gracie slips under a jab from Pais. Gracie with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pais to score with a decent uppercut.

Pais postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Gracie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pais to the mat! Pais manages to get full guard. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Pais is retaining full guard. Pais has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Pais sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Pais manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Gracie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pais manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gracie has Pais in his guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pais engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Gracie shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pais manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Gracie passes into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Pais throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Pais is in Gracie's guard. Pais trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pais defends it easily. Pais slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Pais trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
 The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Crixus Pais. Pais connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Pais shoots in looking for a takedown but Gracie manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pais's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Gracie takes one on the button.
Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Pais is concentrating on defense, preventing Gracie from advancing position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Pais has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though. Gracie trying to pass the guard but Pais defending well. Gracie uses his free foot to push down on Pais's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pais. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pais really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Pais stops Gracie from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Pais regains half guard. Pais makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pais. Pais wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Pais controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself. Rodrigo Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
 The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Crixus Pais.
Gracie drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pais pulls Gracie in close to his closed guard and prevents Gracie from doing any damage or advancing position. Pais manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Crixus Pais comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pais has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoolio circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hoolio drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Barreras is looking for a sweep.
Hoolio goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Barreras has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hoolio but great work by Barreras. Barreras avoids the strikes from the bottom by Hoolio. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hoolio throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Hoolio is looking for a sweep. Hoolio is trying to work for a sweep but Barreras has mounted him! Hoolio tries to improve his position but instead Barreras has taken his back! Hoolio tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Hoolio can't escape the position.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Barreras manages to capitalize on a mistake by Hoolio to take his back! Hoolio is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
I really don't envy Hoolio right now.

Bergasmarchi drives through with a takedown into Frazer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Bergasmarchi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Frazer is looking to regain half guard here but Bergasmarchi keeps moving and retains side control. A lull in the action here. Frazer is pushing Bergasmarchi's head away, looking to escape. Bergasmarchi manages to hold on to the position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bergasmarchi is working to tighten is grip on Frazer's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Frazer has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bergasmarchi is really squeezing tight and eventually Frazer passes out! Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Pais lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Pais ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Faber throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown.
