Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dundee connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Baishel momentarily.
Baishel has his takedown stuffed
and Dundee counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Dundee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dundee tests Baishel's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dundee digs a good body shot into Baishel's ribs.

Dundee is trying to control the action in half guard but Baishel is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Dundee is taking a breather. Baishel says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Let's hope that Dundee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Baishel is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dundee pulls his head out easily.
Dundee wants to advance to full mount but Baishel doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Dundee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Baishel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dundee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Dundee is pushing down on Baishel's leg trying to pass to half guard. Baishel is fighting to maintain full guard but Dundee has managed to sneak the leg through.
Baishel wants to control but Dundee is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dundee not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Dundee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Baishel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Baishel wants to get back to full guard.

Dundee looks to land a strike but Baishel avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Dundee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Baishel has his foot on Dundee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dundee works his way back into a safe position though.
Dundee makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Baishel has control of Dundee's left arm, preventing Dundee from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dundee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Baishel napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Baishel can't do much from the bottom here.
Dundee is trying to move to mount but Baishel reverses beautifully and ends up in Dundee's guard.

Dundee is pulling down on Baishel's head. It's preventing any offense from Baishel, at least for the moment.
