The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moreira stuffs the takedown. Moreira throws a right and a left that both miss. Moreira swings for the body but Samuel moves out of range.
Moreira fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Samuel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Moreira sprawls well initially but Samuel persists and gets the takedown into half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Moreira is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Samuel's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Samuel's back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Durin throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Jackson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice uppercut there from Durin. Durin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Durin circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Jackson to the canvas! Jackson doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Durin keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos thows a leg kick but Louis checks it and Louis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Louis connects with a nice looking jab.
Louis moves into the clinch. Santos is trying to pull guard but Louis has him pressed against the cage. Louis scores with a hook to the body. Louis lands a hook to the side of the head. A nice right hand lands inside from Louis. Louis stops a takedown attempt from Santos.
Louis lands a right hand that snaps the head of Santos backwards. Louis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos fails with the takedown letting Louis counter with a right hand. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Louis looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Martin Louis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Louis moves into the clinch. Louis lands on the inside with an uppercut. Louis is working Santos over against the cage. Louis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Louis moves into range and connects with a jab. Louis lands a nice shot to the body.

That took the wind out of him momentarily. Louis connects with a leg kick. Santos looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Louis scores with a hook to the body. Louis has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Louis ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Santos drops his hands momentarily and Louis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Santos misses with a series of wild punches.
Louis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Santos. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Louis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Louis.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Louis lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Louis scores with a shot to the side of Santos's head. Louis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Louis moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Semenov shoots in but no luck this time. Semenov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Taylor avoids it really well and circles away. Semenov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Taylor is desperately trying to improve his position but Semenov has a good base and remains in mount. Semenov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diprivan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Voda was well out of range. Poor timing from Diprivan. Diprivan looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

It looks like Negru Voda has been cut. Diprivan lands with a kick to the temple. Voda shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" That kick from Diprivan tenderised Voda's leg. Voda is trying to keep his angry face on. Voda chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Diprivan can pounce on him.
Voda takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Diprivan scores with a head kick. Voda tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. This has been an exciting period of action! Diprivan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Voda. That did some damage! Diprivan throws a jab but it's blocked by Voda. Diprivan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Voda lands a nice looking body shot.

A shot to the liver by Voda. Beautiful body shot. Diprivan looks gassed! Voda lands with an uppercut that bounces Diprivan off the cage and back into range. Voda lands a lovely overhand right. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Voda lands a body shot.
Diprivan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Diprivan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Diprivan is rocked! Voda lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Diprivan head around and knocks him out cold! Voda hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holic misses with a looping right. Holic looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Watson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Holic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Holic lands with a right hand. Holic has his takedown stuffed and Watson moves into the clinch. Watson cracks Holic with a nice body shot. Watson just leaning against Holic, taking a breather. Watson lands a hook that snaps the head of Holic backwards. Holic is trying to push Watson away but Watson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Watson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Holic backwards. Holic working hard to break the clinch. Holic is trying to break the clinch but Watson is controlling him. Holic creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Come on Watson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Still in the clinch, Watson scores with a nice short uppercut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Holic is looking to break free of the clinch but Watson has double underhooks. Holic blocks a body shot from Watson. Watson lands an elbow just above Holic 's eye.
That's one minute gone in the round. Watson prevents Holic from breaking the clinch. Watson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Watson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Al Holic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Watson walks into a jab. Holic throws a series of punches but Watson moves out of range. Watson connects with a body shot that sends Holic's belly button to the back. Holic stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Watson. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Watson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Holic is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Watson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Holic drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Watson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Holic's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
