 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Da Fonseca sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Da Fonseca enables Silva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Da Fonseca manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Da Fonseca is looking to stand up but Silva isn't so interested in that idea. Silva wants to control from the top but Da Fonseca keeps moving.

Silva is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Da Fonseca frees his head nicely. Oh but Silva has switched to an armbar! Da Fonseca is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ekim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gori misses with a hook. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gori crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ekim - the referee stops the clock and Gori gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ekim. Gori manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Ekim throws a hook but Gori avoids it easily.
Gori closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gori lands in his opponent's guard. Gori throwing strikes from guard but Ekim blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gori tries to free his leg and advance position but Ekim is retaining full guard. Gori has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gori postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gori pushing down on Ekim's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Ekim keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ekim is looking to control Gori's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ekim avoid being mounted? Gori sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ekim defending well though.
Gori is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ekim doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gori.

Gori landing strikes from the mount and Ekim is in trouble! Gori lands a big shot there that rocks Ekim but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
 Ekim is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gori lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Ekim! Gori sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Ekim and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!

Solodyhin walks into a straight right hand from Lo. Lo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Solodyhin lands with a nice combination. Lo backs away looking to recover. Solodyhin misses with a hook. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Solodyhin tests Lo's chin there with a solid looking shot. Solodyhin cracks Lo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Lo on the wrong end of a nice jab. Lo slips under a jab from Solodyhin. Lo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Lo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Solodyhin is looking to wear down Lo with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Lo blocks a jab. A left lands for Solodyhin. Solodyhin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lo moves away. Solodyhin thows a left - swing and a miss!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Solodyhin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lo manages to avoid it. Solodyhin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Lo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
 Lo is rocked!
 That has opened up Bo Lo's cut even more. Lo is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Solodyhin just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Lo has gone limp and this one is over!

Takatukka throws a right and a left that Sauvage avoids nicely. Sauvage with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Takatukka to score with a decent uppercut. Takatukka lands a nice shot to the body.

Sauvage looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Sauvage looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Takatukka scores with a body shot.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Takatukka lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Good leg kick by Sauvage there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Sauvage is looking to land body kicks. Takatukka connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Takatukka is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sauvage misses with a few strikes there.
Takatukka throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sauvage. Sauvage on the wrong end of a nice jab. Sauvage throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Mikko Takatukka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Takatukka scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sauvage doesn't seem bothered though. Takatukka ducks under a wild hook from Sauvage. A jab from Takatukka does it's job there. Takatukka wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A decent looking cross lands there for Takatukka. Takatukka throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sauvage on the side of the head. Takatukka lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sauvage circles away quickly and effectively. Sauvage misses with a head kick.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mikko Takatukka dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sauvage takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Takatukka scores with a one two! Sauvage had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Sauvage takes a shot right to the bread basket. Sauvage takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Sauvage misses with a body kick. Takatukka just misses with a punch to the body.
Takatukka cracks Sauvage with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A looping hook to the body misses from Takatukka. Sauvage does a little dance to reset his feet. Takatukka sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Sauvage lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Takatukka swinging wildly here.

Sauvage lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Sauvage bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. That kick from Sauvage tenderised Takatukka's leg. Takatukka is trying to keep his angry face on. Sauvage pushes Takatukka away with a front kick. A bone on bone clash there as Takatukka blocks the leg kick.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! A slow jab from Takatukka misses its intended target. Takatukka scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sauvage doesn't seem bothered though. Takatukka takes a swing at Sauvage's ribcage but misses. Nice uppercut there from Takatukka. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. A jab from Takatukka finds it's way through Sauvage's defenses. Sauvage has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Takatukka finds it's way round the side to connect with Sauvage's head. Takatukka darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Sauvage throws a head kick that misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Takatukka. Sauvage does a little dance to reset his feet. Sauvage tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Takatukka is able to avoid easily. Takatukka catches Sauvage with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Sauvage wants to slow Takatukka down by chopping away at his legs. Takatukka misses with a wild body shot. Takatukka throws a hook but Sauvage blocks it. Takatukka checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Sauvage needs to keep his hands up - Takatukka had a free shot at his head there. Sauvage keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Takatukka.

Takatukka has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Sauvage. Takatukka throws a right hand that Sauvage ducks under and follows up with a left that Sauvage also avoids with ease. Takatukka blocks the body kick.

Hall on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Johnson gets off balance looking for a body kick and Hall counters with a head kick. That will keep Johnson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Johnson throws a head kick but Hall moves out of range.
Johnson stalks Hall and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hall's face. Hall staggers backwards, shaken. It's a brutal combination of punches from Hall! Johnson is backing up but he can't get away as Hall lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Johnson and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Kon closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Kon pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kon tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kon to the ground.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ochu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pitbull manages to avoid it. Ochu cracks Pitbull with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Pitbull fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ochu manages to avoid it. Ochu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pitbull throws a low kick, looking for Ochu's leg but Ochu calmly moves out of range.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dickson tries to move into range but Clayton moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Clayton throws a series of punches but Dickson avoids them all with ease. Dickson slips a straight right by Clayton.
Dickson rushes Clayton and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dickson lands a hook to the side of the head. Dickson has Clayton pressed against the cage, preventing Clayton from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Dickson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Clayton or not.
