Silva is trying hard to land a takedown here. Da Fonseca sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Da Fonseca enables Silva to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Da Fonseca manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Ekim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gori crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ekim - the referee stops the clock and Gori gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ekim. Gori manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Takatukka lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Good leg kick by Sauvage there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
