Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Fernan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mickey Finn! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurstr�m, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnem�ki.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Fernan. Finn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Finn shoots in and gets a takedown into Fernan's guard. Finn postures up in Fernan's guard and throws a big left but Fernan blocks it. Finn with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Fernan looking for a sweep. Not yet Fernan, not yet. Fernan controls Finn momentarily but Finn frees himself. Fernan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Finn passes easily into side control. Nice work. Finn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fernan wants to control but Finn postures up. Finn misses with the ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! Fernan tries to improve position but can't. Finn lands some shots froms side control. Finn postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

 It looks like Robert Fernan has been cut. Fernan is working to avoid the ground and pound but Finn connects with a decent elbow. Fernan gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Fernan is trying to get back to full guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Finn lands a nice short elbow. Fernan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Finn's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Finn's back! Finn manages to reverse the position and now he's in Fernan's guard. Nice work there by Finn.

Finn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fernan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Finn throwing strikes from guard but Fernan blocks nicely. Finn chips away with some ground and pound. Fernan keeping moving, preventing Finn from controlling successfully. Finn throwing strikes but missing. Finn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Fernan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Finn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Finn misses with a right hand and Fernan counters with a nice body kick. Finn works over Fernan's head and body with a nice combination. Finn misses with a body shot.
Finn looks to land a left hand but Fernan moved out of range nicely. Fernan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Finn. Finn thows a left - swing and a miss! Robert Fernan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fernan throws a sloppy head kick and Finn moves out of range easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fernan moves away from the strike by Finn.
 That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Fernan with that takedown attempt. Finn fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Fernan checks it well. Fernan tries to clinch up but Finn circles away and keeps his distance. Finn fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Finn keeps the fight on the outside. Fernan throws a one two combo.
 It looks like Mickey Finn has been cut. Fernan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Finn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Mickey Finn seems to be getting the better of the standup. Fernan defending well as Finn loads up on a big left hand. Fernan throws a quick inside leg kick. Fernan throws a leg kick that misses. Fernan throws a half hearted mid kick. Finn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Finn tries to score with some ground and pound. Fernan controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Fernan parries the strikes from Finn easily there. Finn is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Fernan to escape.

 Robert Fernan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Fernan sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Fernan has hold of Finn's hands but Finn slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
 Jeez, Robert Fernan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shields swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A slow jab from Shields misses its intended target. Shields throws out a powerful jab. Kamakazi misses with a body kick. Michael Shields seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kamakazi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

A slow jab from Shields misses its intended target. Kamakazi staying out of range there. Shields shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kamakazi eats them both and turns towards Shields to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Kamakazi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A big left from Shields misses. Shields dips to his left and cracks Kamakazi with an uppercut! Shields is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Shields lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Shields scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kamakazi in his tracks. Shields fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Shields fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kamakazi manages to avoid it.

 We're going to have a standup here because Kid Kamakazi wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Shields scores with a body shot.

Kamakazi throws a right hand that Shields ducks under and follows up with a left that Shields also avoids with ease. Shields connects with a single shot there. Shields fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kamakazi manages to avoid it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kamakazi looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Shields jabs Kamakazi to the body, keeping him at a distance. A solid body kick from Kamakazi. and Kamakazi counters with a good low kick that Shields was not able to check. Nice defenses there by Kamakazi. Shields thows a left - swing and a miss!

Perhaps he's looking to stall. Kamakazi works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kamakazi prevents Shields from improving his position. Kid Kamakazi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Kamakazi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Shields does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Shields avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kamakazi. Kamakazi trying to control the action but Shields is working from the bottom. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Shields trying to hold on to Kamakazi's head to control him but Kamakazi postures up.

Michael Shields is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kamakazi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shields as he avoids it easily. Kamakazi on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

An inside leg kick from Kamakazi misses. Shields waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kamakazi. Kamakazi gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Shields. Kamakazi keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Shields. Shields lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shields circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shields feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kamakazis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kid Kamakazi. I think Shields has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Negreanu thumps Sunan with a low kick. Sunan misses the shot to the body. Sunan wants to clinch but Negreanu slips to the side
and Negreanu decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sunan 's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Negreanu wants to control from the top but Sunan keeps moving. Negreanu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sunan swivels though and keeps the full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sunan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Negreanu is controlling him.  That's one minute gone in the round. Sunan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Negreanu stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Some bone on bone action there as Negreanu checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Sunan attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Sunan tries to score with a low kick but Negreanu moves his leg out of the way. Sunan connects with a looping right hand.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zed throws an overhand right that lands on Lice's shoulder, as Lice tries to avoid the shot. Zed looks to land a combination but Lice avoids it well. Zed misses with a few strikes there.
Zed misses with a series of wild punches.
Zed motions for Lice to come forward. Zed throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Lice wants to clinch up but Zed keeps it at a distance. Zed throws a shot from downtown. Lice moves away and avoids it. Zed throws a head kick but Lice moves out of range.
Lice is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lice tries to clinch but Zed moves out of range. Zed throws a head kick that misses

Zed looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zed misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Lice.
Zed tries to break the clinch but Lice is controlling the position. Lice keeps control of Zed as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Zed is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Zed takes a shot to the head. Zed throws a punch but it's blocked by Lice. Lice gets through Zed's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Zed creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Zed tries a body shot but Lice blocks it.

Zed pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lice stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Zed. Lice looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Zed fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lice has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zed swats away the attempt to clinch by Lice. Lice dodges the punch combination from Zed.
Lice uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zed. A jab from Zed misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Lice looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Zed misses with a two punch combination.
Lice takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Left hook, right uppercut from Zed.
Lice drives through and clinches with Zed against the cage.
Lice lands with a light punch inside. Lice swings wildly with an uppercut but Zed uses good head movement to avoid it. Lice can't find room to land a body shot as Zed controls the action.
Zed tries to work over Lice's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Lice lands a body shot. Lice is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Lice fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lice lands a hook that snaps the head of Zed backwards.
Zed manages to break the clinch.
Lice fails in his attempt to clinch. Lice is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Angelo Zed will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The judges will like that one. Angelo Zed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lice takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Lice checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Angelo Zed seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Lice clinches up with Zed and pushes him back against the cage. Lice lands with a right to the head. Lice avoiding damage as Zed throws knees to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lice slowing the pace effectively. Lice digs a right hand into Zed's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Zed's gas tank.

Zed lands a big head kick that sends Lice tumbling to the mat! Zed takes a step backwards and waves Lice back to his feet - he wants the finish! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lice ducks under a wild hook from Zed. Zed misses with a left hand and Lice counters with a straight right hand. Lice dodges the punch combination from Zed.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Zed. Zed looks to score with a jab to the body but Lice is just out of range. Zed misses with a leg kick enabling Lice to counter with a crisp jab. Zed avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Lice forces Zed back against the cage and clinches. Lice tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Zed tries a knee to the head but Lice blocks it.

Zed takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Zed jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Zed lands with a cross. Zed takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lice keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Zed throws a body kick that misses and Lice cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Zed looks to land a body kick but Lice moved away. A looping hook to the body misses from Lice. Zed does a little dance to reset his feet. Zed misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lice moves into range and clinches up with Zed. Lice misses with a short punch on the inside. Lice lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Lice lands a left hand that snaps the head of Zed backwards. Zed is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lice is keeping busy. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Zed. Lice lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Kimbo Lice has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Angelo Zed is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Zed's face as he tries to break the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lice creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Lice dips a shoulder and cracks Zed with a mighty uppercut! Zed falls back against the cage and Lice unloads with a barrage of strikes! Zed is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Lice screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Mills takes a body punch but keeps moving. Stout lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Stout lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Mills takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Stout swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stout fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Stout throws the kick towards the body but Mills avoids it. Sam Stout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stout lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mills's sensitive parts. A telegraphed right hand from Stout misses the target. A right-left combo lands from Stout. Mills throws a jab when Stout was well out of range. Mills chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stout can pounce on him.

Timoska shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wang napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Wang is trying to improve his position. Timoska lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Wang takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Timoska creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Wang is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Timoska off and has taken his back! Timoska tries to escape the position.
Wang is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Timoska up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Wang is not going to allow Timoska to sit and survive in this position. You can see the frustration on Timoska's face� He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Wang looking to break Timoska's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Timoska remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wang will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Timoska is really stuck here.

A jab lands there for Topohanta.
 It looks like Adamh Pearse has been cut. Topohanta throws a head kick that misses. Pearse tries to close the distance and clinch but Topohanta swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pearse throws a jab but it's blocked by Topohanta. Topohanta throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Topohanta lunges at Pearse with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pearse's hand. Pearse takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Pearse takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Both fighters circling a little - Topohanta finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Oooooh!!! Topohanta has knocked Pearse down with a huge combo! Topohanta steps away and waves a wobbly Pearse back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
 Pearse is rocked! Topohanta ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Pearse's jaw. Pearse's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Topohanta does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
