The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bova shoots in for a takedown but Weddle shows good takedown defense.
Weddle connects with a single shot there.

Weddle is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bova is defending well though. Weddle let's go of the attempt for now.

King might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

King seems to have recovered his senses.
Signal breaks from King's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Signal is going oldschool here, as he tries to force King to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so King shrugs it off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Signal drops back, looking for a kneebar! King looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. King looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from King!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Busy Signal.
I think Signal has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
