1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Bader! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bader changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Donovan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Donovan is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bader's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Donovan pushes Bader off looking to stand but Bader dives back in and keeps control.
Donovan gets full guard. Bader throwing strikes but missing. Bader postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Donovan is on top in guard.

Bader must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Donovan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bader is controlling him. Donovan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bader can do anything to dispel that myth. Donovan controlling the position easily from mount. Donovan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Donovan scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Donovan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A slapping body kick lands there for Donovan. Donovan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Bader. Donovan forces Bader back against the cage and clinches. Donovan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bader is breathing heavily. Donovan scores with a body shot.
Donovan scores with a one two! Bader had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Donovan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Donovan showed some decent athleticism there. Bader tries to kick Donovan off but Donovan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donovan working over Bader with some ground and pound. Bader looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Donovan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Donovan slows the pace down in half guard. Donovan wants to pass the guard but Bader is defending well. Bader tries to kick Donovan off but Donovan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bader on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Donovan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bader can do to turn this around?

Bader is trying to stand up here but Donovan is controlling him well. Donovan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Donovan scoring with strikes to the body and head.

Bader is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Donovan asserts his dominance and retains side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Donovan works to advance to full mount. Bader defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bader is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bader drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Donovan gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Donovan has his hands on Bader's head, controlling the position. Bader throws a strike but Donovan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Ryan Bader has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bader doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lagman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lagman wants it to stay on the feet. Lagman throws a low kick but it's checked well by Miller. Miller throws a body punch but Lagman moves out of range. Miller throws and low kick but Lagman moves out of range easily. Lagman throws a nice looking combination but Miller bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Miller dodges the punch combination from Lagman.

Miller takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vukovic shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mick is trying to defend but Vukovic finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Mick tries to roll over but Vukovic keeps him under control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mick gets back to full guard.
Mick looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mick is looking for a triangle but Vukovic pushes his legs off easily.
Vukovic is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Vukovic wants to control from the top but Mick keeps moving. Mick has his foot on Vukovic's thigh. Mick controls Vukovic momentarily but Vukovic frees himself. Mick keeping moving, preventing Vukovic from controlling successfully. Vukovic won't allow Mick to sweep him here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mick doesn't succeed with the takedown and Vukovic counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mick's knee momentarily. Vukovic has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vukovic there as he acknowledges the shot. Vukovic scores with a leg kick.
Vukovic lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Mick is breathing heavily. Vukovic throws a nice outside leg kick. Jab from Vukovic. Vukovic throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mick with a poor takedown and Vukovic counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mick is rocked! Vukovic works a leg free and moves into half guard. Vukovic is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mick has managed to free his arm - good work. Vukovic scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Vukovic is keen to just control but Mick is a slippery customer. Mick is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Vukovic lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Vukovic working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

You can see the frustration on Vukovic's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Vukovic tries to buck Mick off but Mick is having none of it.
