4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Roper! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roper is looking to clinch but Eater is avoiding it.
Roper closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Roper not landing any meaningful shots this time. Eater blocking the ground and pound attempt from Roper. Eater keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Roper throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Roper wants to work for an arm triangle but Eater is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roper missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eater is breathing heavily. Eater keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Eater avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Roper. Roper wants to take a breather but Eater is having none of it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Roper prevents Eater from improving his position. Roper seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Roper wants to stand up but Eater is controlling the position.
Roper is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Eater!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking body kick lands there for Bailey. McGuire looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Bailey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bailey lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. A slapping body kick lands there for Bailey. McGuire get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. McGuire stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Bailey runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jaxon Bailey! A relieved looking Jaxon Bailey thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kelly is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Brown's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Brown perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Kelly tries to get to full guard but Brown has control of the leg. Brown wants to control but Kelly is keeping him busy. Kelly is looking to improve his position.
Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kelly on the ground. Still in half guard, Brown seems content to control.
 We're going to have a standup here because Bubby Brown wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Brown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. This has been an exciting period of action! Brown prevents Kelly from getting the reversal. Brown takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Brown scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kelly?
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kelly tries to reverse the position but Brown maintains control. Brown pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. A nice elbow there by Brown. Brown trying to control but Kelly is having none of it. Kelly tries to lock up and control but Brown gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Brown gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Kelly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kelly has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kelly is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Brown avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Brown trying to control but Kelly is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kelly looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kelly holds on and takes a little breather. Brown won't allow Kelly to sweep him here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown postures up.
Brown looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kelly is working an open guard so Brown takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Kelly throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brown sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kelly darts in trying to clinch
and Brown counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Brown.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown just leaning against Kelly, taking a breather. Kelly jumps guard but Brown turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kelly is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Brown to keep the fight standing.
Brown pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Brown throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kelly tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Brown is in Kelly's guard. Brown showing good wrestling skills to control the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown gets to his feet. Kelly looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Brown throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kelly was covering up waiting for the punch and Brown finishes the takedown easily into guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kelly is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That was a close round but I would say that Bubby Brown will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Kevin Kelly decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perrin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
 It looks like Trav Perrin has been cut. Winter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Winter misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Perrin.
Winter walks forward, straight into a front kick from Perrin. Winter tries a head kick but it misses.
Winter lands a left and a right that send Perrin crashing to the mat, dazed. Winter thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
 Perrin is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A punch combination from Winter misses. Perrin is still on wobbly legs! Can Winter finish him? Ricky Winter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. BOOM! Winter lands a beautiful left hook that drops Perrin. Perrin tries to recover but Winter is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Perrin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricky Winter! Ricky Winter is the new middleweight champion! Ricky Winter gave a mention to ZONE in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tucker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat. A swing and a miss from Tucker. Tucker throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tucker quickly recovers to half guard. Jones passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tucker!
Jones is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tucker can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Jones is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Tucker has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jones takes Tucker's back.

Jones working for a choke but Tucker is defending well.
Jones is working for a rear naked choke. Tucker is not defending it well and Jones has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Tucker refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Tucker's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jhon Jones! Jhon Jones really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that ANABOLIC **160** and LAUNDRY logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Del Fuago shoots for a takedown but Hodges saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hodges looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Del Fuago enables Hodges to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Del Fuago manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Del Fuago is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Del Fuago throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Valentine! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macca lands with a kick to the temple. Valentine shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Macca shoots in but Valentine avoids the takedown attempt easily. Macca shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Valentine sprawls well. Valentine wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Macca gets slowly back to his feet.
Macca clinches. Valentine missing with knees to the body.
Macca drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Macca. That's going to take a lot out of him. Macca takes a knee to the side of the body.
Macca manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Macca throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Valentine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Macca swivels though and keeps the full guard. Macca tries to land a sweep but no joy. Macca really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
