Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Riley Neil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shun Whun! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whun sizes up Neil with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Neil pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Whun scores with a jab to the jaw. Whun misses with a double jab.
Whun jabs at Neil's body. Whun digs a good hook to Neil's body.
Neil closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Whun did well to prevent Neil getting side control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Whun tries to roll over but Neil keeps him under control. Neil wants to pass the guard but Whun is defending well. Ground and pound from Neil. Whun trying to control here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Whun is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Neil's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Neil's back! Neil has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Whun.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Neil trying to control the hands but Whun won't let him. Neil has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Whun struggling to keep hold of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neil manages to reverse the position and now he's in Whun's guard. Nice work there by Neil.
Neil scoring with some ground and pound. Neil looking to sit in guard and control but Whun gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Whun controls from within his opponent's guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Whun looking to pass the guard. Neil is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Neil tries to strike from the bottom.
Whun looking to sit in guard and control but Neil gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Neil stays in close to Whun's body and controls the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Neil stands up over Whun, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Neil trying to control but Whun is working from the bottom. Whun wants to sweep but no luck. Whun wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Neil is now in half guard. Whun trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neil postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Whun looks a forlorn figure.
Neil is in the full mount, landing strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Whun is looking to improve his position but Neil isn't that keen on the idea. Neil breaks from Whun's wrist control and lands an elbow. Neil controlling the pace for now. Whun takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee warns Whun that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Riley Neil dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Whun shoots in for a takedown but Neil shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Whun cracks Neil with an open hand slap. Whun is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Neil shoots in and gets a takedown into Whun's guard. Neil trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Whun trying to control the position.
Neil tries to free his leg and advance position but Whun is retaining full guard. Neil scoring with punches to the head and body. Neil postures up in Whun's guard and throws a big left but Whun blocks it.
Whun has his foot on Neil's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Neil works his way back into a safe position though.
Whun is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Neil is aware though and is defending well. Whun keeping moving, preventing Neil from controlling successfully. Neil scoring with punches to the head and body.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Neil looking to pass the guard. Whun controls Neil momentarily but Neil frees himself. Neil postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Neil wants to control from the top but Whun keeps moving. Whun utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Neil trying to control but Whun is working from the bottom. Neil lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Whun keeping moving, preventing Neil from controlling successfully.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Neil scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Whun isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Neil stacks Whun on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Neil! Neil scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Whun to see if he's OK. Neil lands a nice forearm strike. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Whun tries to bench press Neil off him but Neil keeps the position. Neil is looking to take a break and control but Whun is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Whun is trying to control Neil's posture but Neil avoids it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Whun manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Whun is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Whun is breathing heavily. Neil wants to get back to full guard but Whun has mounted him! Riley Neil overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Neil manages to regain half guard. Good work. Neil is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Neil regains full guard. Nicely done.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Whun trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Neil bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Whun's guard. Whun keeping moving, preventing Neil from controlling successfully. Neil preventing the sweep.
Neil got a little sloppy there for a moment and Whun has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Neil has managed to get both his arms back between Whun's legs - danger averted. Neil lands a couple of elbows. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Neil stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Whun swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Neil lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Riley Neil dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Whun feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Neils jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Whun checks the leg kick nicely there.
Whun motions for Neil to come forward. Whun throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Whun lands the left hand.
Neil looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Whun! Neil fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Whun tries to lock up and control but Neil gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Whun is looking to improve his position but Neil isn't that keen on the idea. Neil wants to control the pace but Whun is squirming around nicely. Neil dominating with strikes here. Whun tries to get back to half guard but can't.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Neil. Neil avoids the attempt from Whun to control. Neil fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Neil cracks Whun with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

 Whun is rocked! Neil lands a heavy elbow. Whun is still in real trouble! Can Neil finish him? Whun wants to control but Neil is having none of it. Whun takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Whun might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Neil kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Neil with a couple of short strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Whun regains half guard. Neil works his way into side control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neil cracks Whun with a big right hand but Whun just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Neil working away. Whun seems to have recovered his senses. Neil working the head and body with strikes. Neil trying to control the position but Whun is working away. Whun takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
The referee asks Neil politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Neil prefers to stall for the moment though. Whun is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Whun trying to remain calm as Neil controls from the top position. Whun is trying to get back to half guard. Neil lands a few punches from side control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Neil scoring with punches and elbows. Neil in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Whun wants to control but Neil postures up. Neil lands a nice forearm strike. Whun struggling a bit here. Riley Neil is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Whun is looking to regain half guard here but Neil keeps moving and retains side control. Whun being controlled for a moment. Shun Whun has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Neil has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
 We're going to have a standup here because Riley Neil wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Neil looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Riley Neil showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Neil, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Meyers wants to take the fight to the mat but Morris manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Meyers jumps guard.
Morris wants to control from the top but Meyers keeps moving. Meyers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Morris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Morris not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Meyers is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Morris rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Meyers moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Morris misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Morris throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Meyers.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Morris misses with a two punch combination.
Morris swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Earl Morris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Meyers throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Morris's waist but Morris gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Meyers off to one side. Morris misses with a series of wild punches.

and Meyers counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Morris!
Meyers has hold of Morris's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Morris manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Meyers won't let Morris get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Meyers with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Meyers stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. A combination from Morris does no damage. Earl Morris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Morris tries to clinch up. Morris lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Meyers circles away quickly and effectively.
Meyers closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Meyers lands in his opponent's guard. Meyers trying to control the position from guard on top but Morris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morris is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Morris wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Meyers manages to pass to side control.  Meyers is rocked! Morris plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Meyers swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Meyers face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
