The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monet slips under a jab. Queensberry throws out a loose jab but Monet uses good head movement to avoid it. Queensberry loads up on a big right hand but Monet slips the punch. Queensberry lands a nice hook to Monet's body. Monet takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Monet staying out of range there. Queensberry throws a body kick that misses. Monet feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Queensberry's calf. Queensberry misses with a hook
and Monet counters with a nice double leg into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Monet pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Queensberry is keeping the position for now. Monet in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Monet trying to control the position from guard on top but Queensberry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A swing and a miss from Monet. Queensberry clinches with his opponent.

Queensberry misses with a body kick. Monet fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Queensberry looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Queensberry is breathing heavily. Monet sizes up Queensberry with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Queensberry cracks Monet with a right hand to the side of the head. Monet cracks Queensberry with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Queensberry throws a front kick aimed at Monet's knee but Monet avoids it well. Monet keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Monet scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Queensberry doesn't seem bothered though. Monet closes the distance and clinches up with Queensberry, looking for a takedown. Monet pushes Queensberry against the cage but Queensberry circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Monet thows a body shot but no joy. Monet lands with a good body shot. Monet misses with a hook. Queensberry ducked under it nicely. Queensberry leaves Monet with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Queensberry swinging wildly here.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Monet, as that shot connected.
Edmund Queensberry's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Queensberry instigates a clinch. Monet taking a breather. Monet softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Queensberry is rocked! Monet lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Oh Queensberry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Queensberry takes a shot to the head. Monet lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Queensberry trying to land knees to the body.
Monet pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Queensberry seems to have got his legs back now. Some wild striking there from Queensberry.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Good leg kick by Monet there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Queensberry stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Queensberry wants it to stay on the feet. Edmund Queensberry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raphael Monet. Monet throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Pelayo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Yuen misses with a body shot.

Pelayo throws a nice looking combination but Yuen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pelayo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. That was a close round but I would say that Sean Yuen will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Sean Yuen's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Yuen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pelayo was well out of range. Poor timing from Yuen. Yuen needs to keep his hands up - Pelayo had a free shot at his head there. Yuen looks to land a left hand but Pelayo moved out of range nicely.

Yuen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pelayo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pelayo drops Yuen with a beautiful combination! Yuen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pelayo is looking for the KO! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pelayo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Yuen.

Pelayo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Yuen thumps Pelayo with a low kick. Yuen throws a hook but Pelayo avoids it easily. Pelayo misses with a body shot.

Oxer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Moore on the side of the head. Moore attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Moore takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Moore is rocked! Oxer throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Moore's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Oxer dives in looking to finish as Moore flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Oxer's strikes! Oxer is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Moore was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Laroux throws a lazy right hand but CB Torture sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Laroux drives through and clinches with CB Torture against the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Bruce Jenkins! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Troy Mccoy! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jenkins looks to score with a jab to the body but Mccoy is just out of range. Mccoy lands a jab to Jenkins's midsection. Jenkins rushes Mccoy and presses him up against the cage. Jenkins lands with a short shot to the head. Jenkins digs a right hand underneath Mccoy's ribcage. Mccoy let out a lung full of air as it connected. Jenkins avoiding damage.
Mccoy breaks the clinch.
Nice cross by Jenkins. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mccoy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jenkins paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mccoy throws a hook to the side of Jenkins's head but Jenkins sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Mccoy throws a right and a left that Jenkins avoids nicely. Jenkins tries to clinch but Mccoy moves out of range. Mccoy slips under a jab from Jenkins.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mccoy misses with a wild body shot. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Mccoy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jenkins. Jenkins pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mccoy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jenkins sprawls well. Jenkins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mccoy gets slowly back to his feet. Jenkins gets a double leg takedown into Mccoy's guard. Jenkins keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mccoy's head. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jenkins throws a big right hand that misses. Mccoy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jenkins defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jenkins accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mccoy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jenkins. Mccoy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mccoy looking for a guillotine here but Jenkins defends easily.
Jenkins chips away with some ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! Jenkins connects with a couple of short punches. Jenkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Mccoy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jenkins distracts Mccoy with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mccoy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jenkins stands up over Mccoy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Mccoy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Jenkins avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mccoy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jenkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jenkins distracts Mccoy with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mccoy working for a triangle but Jenkins defends it easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jenkins's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Jenkins lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Jenkins trying to control but Mccoy is working from the bottom. Jenkins is in close to Mccoy's body, working some short punches and elbows. Jenkins lands a couple of digs. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Jenkins looking to pass the guard. Mccoy manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mccoy with shots to the head and body - Jenkins looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jenkins can't escape the position.
Mccoy lands with some strikes. Jenkins wants to control but Mccoy is having none of it. Mccoy working the ground and pound effectively.
Jenkins keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mccoy raining down hammerfists from mount. Mccoy working the ground and pound effectively.
Jenkins is rocked! Jenkins wants to hold on but Mccoy pushes him away. Oh Jenkins is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Mccoy unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Jenkins wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Mccoy celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Troy Mccoy! Troy Mccoy is the new light heavyweight champion!
