The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Felipe moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Pereira tries to clinch there but Felipe circles away.
Felipe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pereira clinches with his opponent.
Felipe is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Pereira pushes Felipe back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Felipe is rocked! Pereira misses with a hook from the clinch. Felipe is still on wobbly legs! Can Pereira finish him? Pereira takes an elbow to the forehead. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pereira creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Pereira is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Felipe is keeping busy. Pereira's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Felipe is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Felipe seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pereira lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Pereira managing to block the knees to the body from Felipe.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dias lands with a nice body punch. Bignog misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dias getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Bignog has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dias finds it's way round the side to connect with Bignog's head. Dias fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Dias fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bignog looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A lazy left from Dias finds it's target. Dias scores with a nice head shot. Dias changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bignog doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Dias connects with a right hand. Bignog shakes it off. Dias lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Bignog slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Bignog really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dias works Bignog's body with a nice hook. Dias drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Dias is putting a hurting on Bignog here, landing some big shots from side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A head kick misses from Ground. Ground really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. mAn throws a head kick that misses. mAn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ground misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ground shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. mAn eats them both and turns towards Ground to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Ground tests mAn's chin there with a solid looking shot. Ground scores with a jab to the body. Ground feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to mAn's calf. Ground defending well as mAn loads up on a big left hand. Ground lands a brutal head kick. mAn looks out on his feet and Ground throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
