The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zanico tries to close the distance and clinch but House swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. House is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zanico sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Horrible takedown by House or perhaps it was just good defense by Zanico which made him look bad. House tries to keep at a distance but Zanico has taken the fight into the clinch. House is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James House. That's going to take a lot out of him. House is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Zanico gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Zanico works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Zanico turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Zanico manages to end up in side control. Zanico working the ground and pound but House is defending the strikes. House prevents Zanico from improving position. House can't do much from the bottom here. Zanico passes to full mount! That's big trouble for House! Zanico unloads with some shots from mount but House bucks and avoids them well.
House is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
House bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! House is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Zanico is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Zanico has escaped and now he's on top!

House has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Zanico to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! House is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Zanico pulls down on the head and he's put House to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Rafael Zanico! Rafael Zanico very nearly forgot to thank Hell's Balls Recovery (160) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Bowtie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Washington. Bowtie throws a solid leg kick but Washington takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bowtie. Washington misses with an uppercut. Bowtie saw that one coming. A swing and a miss from Washington. A bone on bone clash there as Bowtie blocks the leg kick.
Bowtie does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Washington fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bowtie manages to avoid it. Washington throws a body punch but Bowtie moves out of range. Washington bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bowtie.

Washington crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bowtie - the referee stops the clock and Washington gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bowtie. Washington manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Bowtie moves out of range of the strikes. Washington lands with a nice body punch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Washington swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tay jabbing away but nothing is landing. Roth tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tay was well out of range. Poor timing from Roth. Tay scores with a crisp jab that stopped Roth in his tracks. Roth steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tay. Roth ducks right into an uppercut from Tay. Roth on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The fighters circling - Tay throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Roth avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Roth throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tay's waist but Tay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roth off to one side. Tay stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Roth misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Tay counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Cray Daddy Tay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tay lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Roth at a distance.
Tay connects with the punch. Roth keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Tay smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Nice straight punches there by Tay. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tay.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roth with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tay to score with a decent uppercut. Tay clobbers Roth with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Roth walks into a straight right hand from Tay. Roth thows a left - swing and a miss! Tay misses with a looping right. A nice combination there by Tay.
Roth closes the distance and clinches up with Tay, looking for a takedown. Roth pushes Tay against the cage but Tay circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tay lands with an uppercut that bounces Roth off the cage and back into range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tay sizes up Roth with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Tay misses with a two punch combination.

Roth content just to control the position here. Roth trying to control but he's not successful this time. The referee warns Tay that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

It looks like Daniel Roth has been cut. A telegraphed right hand from Tay misses the target. Tay connects with a nice looking jab.

Now Tay has his back to the cage. A short right from Tay. Tay lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Roth. Roth has Tay pushed against the cage. Tay swings away with an uppercut that misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santiago closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Al Kassar's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Santiago trying to control the position from guard on top but Al Kassar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Al Kassar is trying to keep Santiago in close.
Al Kassar wants to stand and escape but Santiago is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Santiago postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Al Kassar is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap!
