Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Baron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mayor Hammertown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammertown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. mama said knock u out kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the ring it seems that Robert Baron has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Robert Baron seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baron drives through with a takedown into Hammertown's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Baron drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Baron jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hammertown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baron. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Baron got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hammertown has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Baron has managed to get both his arms back between Hammertown's legs - danger averted.

Hammertown has left one of his arms exposed and Baron doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Hammertown screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Hammer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Worswinkel defends well.

CorpseGrinder tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mies sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten CorpseGrinder somewhat.
CorpseGrinder lands a glancing blow to the side of Mies's head.
CorpseGrinder changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mies tries to avoid it but CorpseGrinder manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mies to the ground. Mies escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
CorpseGrinder shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

CorpseGrinder is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if CorpseGrinder hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dominik Young.
