Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Boxer Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Davis! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boxer Jr scores with a hook. Boxer Jr scores with a leg kick.
Davis has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Boxer Jr. Boxer Jr fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Davis looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Boxer Jr lands a jab to Davis's midsection. Davis takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Good leg kick by Boxer Jr there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Davis tries to score with a low kick but Boxer Jr moves his leg out of the way. Boxer Jr fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Boxer Jr lands a big head kick that sends Davis tumbling to the mat! Boxer Jr takes a step backwards and waves Davis back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Davis is rocked! Boxer Jr lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Davis crumples to the floor! Boxer Jr milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Navickas closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Navickas looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Navickas is trying to force a seperation but Harrison has the dominant position. Harrison breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Harrison. Harrison gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Harrison is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Navickas is defending well. Harrison successfully pulls guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Harrison has control of Navickas's left arm, preventing Navickas from doing any damage. Harrison has his foot on Navickas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Navickas works his way back into a safe position though. Navickas being controlled here momentarily. Navickas is looking to work some ground and pound but Harrison has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrison is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Navickas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Harrison keeping moving, preventing Navickas from controlling successfully. Harrison is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Harrison is pulling down on Navickas's head. It's preventing any offense from Navickas, at least for the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Mrs Harrison just wasn't active enough. Harrison misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Harrison shoots in but no luck this time. Navickas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Navickas misses with a low kick as Harrison jumps back. Navickas tries for a takedown but Harrison circles away easily and Harrison moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Navickas creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Harrison keeps control of Navickas as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Navickas is stalling here.
Navickas is trying to push Harrison away but Harrison has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Navickas stalling.
Navickas throws a knee to the head but misses.
Navickas jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Harrison walks away with a smile on his face. Navickas gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Harrison wants to clinch up but Navickas keeps it at a distance. Harrison darts in and clinches Navickas up against the cage. Harrison is trying to drag Navickas to the mat but Navickas just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mrs Harrison. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head punch blocked on the inside by Navickas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrison manages to break the clinch.
Harrison stuffs the takedown attempt from Navickas. Navickas gets slowly back to his feet. Navickas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Navickas tries to clinch there but Harrison circles away.
Harrison thows a left - swing and a miss! Navickas throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Navickas shoots and misses and Harrison counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Harrison tries to free his leg and advance position but Navickas is retaining full guard. Navickas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harrison doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harrison manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison sitting in guard here, content to control. Harrison stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Navickas swivels though and keeps the full guard. Harrison engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Harrison wants to pass the guard but Navickas is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mrs Harrison dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Navickas tries to clinch up but Harrison circles away and keeps his distance. Harrison pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Navickas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Navickas with a lazy takedown attempt and Harrison counters with a nice double leg into side control. Navickas won't be happy with that. Harrison stands up. Navickas circles away from the clinch attempt.
Harrison closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Harrison stands up out of the half guard. Navickas shoots in for a double leg but Harrison sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Harrison lands a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrison gets the takedown into side control. Navickas is breathing heavily. Harrison moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Harrison has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Navickas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Harrison's waist but Harrison gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Navickas off to one side. Mrs Harrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edvinas Navickas. Harrison misses with a low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harrison shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Harrison circles away from the clinch attempt.
Navickas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Navickas fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A momentary lapse in concentration from Navickas enables Harrison to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Navickas manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. This has been an exciting period of action! Harrison connects with a couple of short punches. Navickas keeping moving, preventing Harrison from controlling successfully. Navickas can't keep his opponent in guard - Harrison advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Harrison trying to control the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrison is working for a submission of some sort.

Harrison is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Navickas has managed to free his arm - good work. Harrison is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison passes the guard and advances to mount! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harrison lands a big shot there that rocks Navickas but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Navickas slaps away a takedown attempt from Harrison, before circling back to the center of the mat. Navickas misses with the combination.
Navickas fails to land the takedown. Harrison has a takedown stuffed. Navickas looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Navickas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Harrison, pushing him back against the cage. Harrison tries to score a body lock takedown but Navickas shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mrs Harrison. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harrison manages to break the clinch.

Harrison shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Navickas is trying to defend but Harrison finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Navickas wants to improve his position but Harrison is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Harrison works his way into full mount! Navickas tries to reverse the position but Harrison maintains control. Harrison with the ground and pound from mount. Harrison landing strikes, looking to finish! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Navickas tries to reverse the position but Harrison maintains control. Navickas is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harrison sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Harrison tries to control but Navickas wriggling away. Harrison controlling from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harrison landing strikes from the mount. Harrison unloading with bombs! Harrison punishing his opponent with strikes. Navickas working to try and regain half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Navickas is in a horrible position here. Harrison smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Edvinas Navickas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mrs Harrison is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Harrison controlling from mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Mrs Harrison showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Harrison, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
