Stack drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Maluco manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stack has Maluco in his guard.

Stack is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Maluco has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Maluco!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stack is on top in guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Stack tried to score with a low kick but Maluco checks it.
Stack bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Maluco avoids the body shot from Stack.
Maluco closes the distance but Stack moves to the side

and Stack counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Maluco wants to get back to his feet.
Stack frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The referee warns Maluco that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Stack is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Maluco goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Stack!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jim Stack!
